I have been reading some of the things he came up with and with incredible accuracy. I know he was a devout Christian but many of his insights were way outside of orthodox beliefs. How does a man with a sixth grade education come up with the amazing medical insights? I would love to hear some opinions from others that have looked into or study this man. The foundation explores spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries. There are too many occultic things he espoused that are unbiblical. Any time anyone asks if any of the psychic phenomena is ok, the answer should always be a resounding NO. It is NEVER ok. The bible vehemently condemns All occultic practices. This man might have claimed to be a Christian but his deeds and words were far from it. A person can not be a clairvoyant and be in fellowship with God too. The bible tells us to avoid such people who claim to be a Christian, but do this sort of thing. Attaining enlightenment apart from God is a huge no-no. No Christian should ever applaud Edgar Cayce's actions. Christians should NOT even be curious about any supernatural phenomena as this man entertained. God's word is the authority on this and his word condemns all such practices and activities. 6 2

Satan's prophets never get it 100% right because they don't know all of the details. One sure fire way to see a false prophet is flag this common thread, that they get it right only sometimes. Not only that, there are often conditions attached to any prophet of Satan that allowed them to have the insight in the first place...such as demon possession. The devil always gets more on his end of the bargains people make with him than the recipients do and he demands a lot. What I'm saying is it might look flattering to a few to delve into this kind of thing to get insight. It isn't. The trade is your soul.

Yes the first name was mistaken, it is Edgar Casey. As stated above a prophet is proven to be a false prophet based on inaccuracies, from what I have read no inaccuracies have been attributed to him. He never claimed to be a psychic, his claim was he had access to the hall of records in heaven, I do find that difficult to believe though. Also what he did for people was never greed based by him, so it is obvious his intent was to help others. Many of his comments advised people to pray often. Again, thanks for the responses. By not only what they say, but by what they do. Take everything you read, see, and hear to God's word and see if what you are seeing and hearing, lines up with scripture. The bible says we, whether Christian or not, are not to practice “spiritual readings”. Spiritual readings are practiced by clairvoyants and psychic's NOT from God, but from evil spirits. He wrote a book on how one can awaken their sixth sense. This is also NOT biblical. He believed in and taught reincarnation and karma. These are NOT biblical either and the bible teaches against such. Divination in any form is sin. It is NOT an alternate source of wisdom. The bible tells us that all humans are to avoid any practice related to divination, including fortune-telling, astrology, witchcraft, tarot cards, necromancy, and spell-casting, karma, enlightment, reincarnation, etc... These things do NOT come from the Holy Spirit or angels, but from evil spirits. As for Edgar Cayce, that claiming that he wasn't a clairvoyant. He lied, because every biography, including interviews, as well as Wikipedia, Britannica, and other sources say he was indeed a clairvoyant. He created an organization to explore and teach spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, He may not of charged for his readings but made his money on books teaching others about these things and how to do them. What Cayce did was evil. The reason his actions are unorthodox is because the bible says that all who practice such stuff are false prophets and false teachers. His words, deeds and actions came from an evil spirit pretending to be an angel of light. Pretending to do good in order to lead people away from putting their trust and faith in the Jesus' finished work on the cross. Not all signs and wonders are from God. And the reason the bible teaches us to test the spirits. 2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. But, nothing else he says is. He is very wrong about the past, future etc. The way he contacts this spirit tells me he is using a demon like a shaman does to answer questions. That is why it is accurate on medicine, but lies about anything else. He sows seeds of discontent.

Even John himself received and wrote Revelation. How can one tell the difference between a legitimate spiritual communication with an agent of God vs an agent of Satan, assuming the agent of Satan is impersonating an agent of God?
