Well, I can assure you,I will never limit my time around my son, he’s all I’ve got as family....

He might not be saved.. but he lives a much more moral life, than some Christians.

He believes in God and fears him, but he isn’t saved yet.

Not entirely correct.

1) He should not have talked to her because of social mores

2) She was an outcast and not of the pure Jewish race

3) She was a sinner

4) She was also not afraid to listen to Him

5) He demonstrated UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

I was not mentioning any kind of "strategy". God's ways are far higher than our ways.

We see sin: He saw a PERSON of inestimable value.

I don’t  believe parents should ever give up on their children. I know I wouldn’t. We are used to raising them and them going against our decisions. It’s natural.

I think this is they key when dealing with unbelievers. If they are not willing to listen or change then all that’s left is for us to conform to their ways when around them.

What exactly did Jesus do for her? He was interrupted by His disciples and she went away without another word

I don't think #2 is correct. Unbelievers rejecting Christ is between them and Christ.  Oh sure  we can make a handy excuse but in the end its not us

This is the most normative in my view of believers that love to look down on others and condemn them out of hand.
