"From Such, TURN AWAY."

When you read this list, it's really mind boggling when you get to the end and realize that the list is a description of so-called Christians!  We are clearly called to separate from the likes of these.

Did you realize, when you read this passage from 2 Timothy 3:1, that this is a description of those who CALL THEMSELVES Christians??? As Christians, we are called to SEPARATE from these FAKE CHRISTIANS. We should have nothing to do with them.

2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Then the Bible tells us to love our neighbor

The apostles of Jesus were not silenced until they were dead.  They repeatedly spoke out the words of Jesus even when they were told to be silent by the religious leaders and government authorities.  They knew the mission was to save the lost sheep no matter the personal cost. Even Jesus displayed acts of defiance and was not silent. 

John 2:15 (NIV)
So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

Matthew 23:33 NIV
“You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

Matthew 23:27 NIV
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die, 
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

Your scriptural list causes me to examine my own self. How much in that list am I guilty of. Can we all be honest.

I believe that is what we should ALL do, Sower....EXAMINE OURSELVES :).  Thank you for your post.
