What type of believer are you? Perhaps you are one of the stones of which the door of the New Jerusalem is made up.

If it is your case, you are a precious pearl (Ap 21.21). Be happy and:

•    “Lift up your heads, O gates; even lift up, O everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.” (Psalms 24.9).

Nevertheless, take care! Don’t consent that your will (that is not free) decide on who can get in and who not! We take the hazard of leaving out Jesus (see Revelation 3.20; Matthew 25.41-46) or some of His angels (Hebrews 13.2).

Never think that you is sufficiently savvy one to ostracize puckish people:

•    “Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and depart from evil.” (Proverbs 3.5-7).

If we make this mistake, the result can be this:

•    “Her gates have sunk in the ground; He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her kings and her rulers are among the nations. The Law is no more; also her prophets also find no vision from Jehovah.” (Lamentations 2.9).

Besides, the Holy Scripture enjoin us to make no exception of people (Deut 10.17; 16.19; 2Chr 19.7; Job 13.10; Acts 10.34; Rom 2.11; Eph 6.9; Col 3.25; James 2.1,9; 1Peter 1.17). So, don’t let that your soul or the gates of hell induce you to the sin:

•    “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this *rock* I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16.18).

The ideal is to be founded on the rock, namely, that Jesus is “the Christ, the Son of the *living* God” (Matthew 16.16). May it be clear: only believe that Jesus is God in flesh, the envoy of the Creator to rescue us from our sins, isn’t sufficient. We need to believe, not only with our mind, but with our heart, that Jesus is ALIVE. So, once He is ALIVE, let Him to control who should come in and come out of your life and, certainly, you will have a nice day without any likelihood of defilement:

•    “And there shall in no way enter into it anything that defiles, or any making an abomination or a lie; but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.” (Revelation 21.27).
