"1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."  - 1 John 4: 1-3 KJV

I believe that these verses are talking about the 'gift of discernment.' Does anyone here hears from the spiritual realm and apply 1 John 4: 1-3 to test if what you communicate with is a legitimate spirit from Jesus Christ?

For the Christian the gift of discernment comes from the Holy Spirit who resides within us. Our communication is to Jesus as our only mediator. No need to communicate with any other.

Any spirit who is attempting to impersonate the Spirit of God will do everything in it's power to appear legitimate and is obvious in any attempt to copy or mimic. Since this text deals with something subtractive instead of something additive, i.e. The deceptive spirits REMOVE, TAKE AWAY the admission Jesus Christ is the very son of God and has come IN THE FLESH and furthermore has DIED for ALL MEN'S SINS.

What does this still give the evil spirits permission to do?

- Say Jesus was a God sent Holy prophet

-Say they believe He was a good man

-Say it's ok to have a form of Christianity without actually having a sincere Christianity

-Perform miracles

-Walk, talk and act just like Christian pastors, healers and self described apostles

-Do good deeds

-They can be very expert in theology and able to quote scripture at will, skillful in twisting scripture to mean things it really doesn't mean.

A true prophet draws men to God. A false prophet deceives and draws men away from God while leading them to believe they are following God.

Probably more damage has been done by the enemy through counterfeit Christian false prophets leading anti-christ denominations than those who are openly and overtly Satanist. Make no mistake, they are all in cahoots together even if they aren't aware they are. The average person doesn't want anything to do with the dark religions and will instead, have no issue attending a church that looks christian while they themselves have never made a serious repentance of sin or commitment to the Lord. They want something that looks Christian while still allowing them to stay the same as they were. The devil is selling a product and he has buyers lined up for it. He is schmoozing millions into hell by the day with this ploy.

Do they say Christ is who He claimed to be? Part of the God head. The Son of God? Do they espouse salvation only through the blood of Christ? Do they say Christ is the ONLY way to the Father? Do they require this admission to join their organization? Or do they let anyone join? Do they back up what they say by their actions? Are the showing the fruits of the spirit? Do they believe Christ was crucified, died and was raised again the 3rd day? Do they preach against all sin as taught in the Bible?

Anything less is not of God.

On 10/11/2021 at 12:19 PM, Child of Jesus Christ said:

Does anyone here hears from the spiritual realm and apply 1 John 4: 1-3 to test if what you communicate with is a legitimate spirit from Jesus Christ?

“And the Spirit himself speaks to our spirits and makes us sure that we are God’s children.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:16‬ ‭

“That is why we never give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.”
‭‭Philemon‬ ‭1:25‬ ‭

“My brothers and sisters, I pray that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will be with your spirits. Amen.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭

We have spirits. The spirits we are to test are people. Why? To avoid false teachers.

“My dear friends, many false prophets are in the world now. So don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God.

This is how you can recognize God’s Spirit. One spirit says, “I believe that Jesus is the Messiah who came to earth and became a man.” That Spirit is from God.

Another spirit refuses to say this about Jesus. That spirit is not from God. This is the spirit of the enemy of Christ.

You have heard that the enemy of Christ is coming, and now he is already in the world. My dear children, you belong to God, so you have already defeated these false prophets. That’s because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:1-4‬ ‭

I have tested the Spirits of false teachers and they did refuse to confess Christ. Instead of confessing Christ they said things like: why are you asking me that, first let me ask you this, and your rude.

Its as I understand discerning of spirits .. a awareness or understanding in the spirit world.   Its good and bad spirits.. we tend to only take it as looking knowing EVIL SPIRITS!  John.. Rev saw into the spirit world. Its not :) discernment. That is not a gift. As one said it could be the gift of knowledge.   Oh its not finding faults , its not the discerning of people but spirits. ACTS 16 is a good example. 1st Cor 13 and the fruits of the spirit.. we do not go in looking for sins mistakes faults in others. Again its about spirits. And the lesson here is HE the sweet holy Spirits uses gives these though us. Its always in some way to HELP.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
