FINDING JOY IN THE MEANINGLESS

When we find ourselves in the whirlwind of tedium, let’s launch our own daily mini-conference, as we “remember [our] Creator” (v. 1)—the God who fills the mundane with meaning. 

As we remember and worship Him, we’ll find wonder in the ordinary, gratitude in the mundane, and joy in the seemingly meaningless things of life.

 TOPIC: FINDING JOY IN THE MEANINGLESS. Bible in a Year: Jeremiah 34–36; Hebrews 2. Key Verse: 

“When I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind.” Ecclesiastes 2:11

Yes  I do find great joy in the mundate. The wonders of creation are all around us.

Moments of rest and respites in a tumultuous life.

I think of them as little islands of peace in a troubled sea called life

That is why we should not seek happiness, but rather joy.  For happiness is fleeting, but the Joy of the Lord is our strength to sustain us in between the respites

I liken happiness to a little white butterfly...it flits around you and occasionally lands, you could spend your whole life chasing it and if you ever catch it, you would just kill it.

Yes I I found much joy in the quiet times
