i have just read  (allmost)the longest reply /comment in a thread ever for me.normally if a reply/comment takes longer than a paragraph or two unless entirely relivant i would walkaway.being of the school that taught "keep it short, keep it neat, keep it simple keep it sweet"so dogmaticly i get over half way but had to call a stop feeling me oils about to run out, and decide to leave it to later with maybe a remark on its length only to find ITS BEEN LOCKED DOWN.

ARRRRRRRRRRGH...oh Lord,why me!...

I also try to keep my posts short, makes it so much easier to read.  Walls of text or scripture does indeed make it difficult to read posts.  Posts that are created with no paragraphs are also an eye strain.  Difficult to read those.  If I have to make a long post, I try to break it up into two shorter posts, rather than one long post.

On my bookshelf is an exposition of the Ten Virgins. It took 92 pages. The author was a MA at Oxford in the 1800's. His English is precise and concise. He never repeated himself once. That was a marathon. But it just shows how much is in that Parable. I'm glad I took the time and effort to read it (twice). :o

I don't have the patience (or time?) to read long posts.
