When the believer is passing through a difficulty, regardless the degree, it is never salvation that’s being tested, but faith—which manifests salvation; and the test does not determine pass or fail but is always faith-strengthening. Other than asking to receive, regeneration is never effected by anyone except God. Only He can establish and retain its power within the saint. Faith is also established by Him as a work (fruit - Gal 5:22) of His Spirit, and its strength is ever varying on the increase, unlike salvation, which admits not in degrees (neither does holiness, sanctification, righteousness nor justification).

Once given, faith can only increase (in strength), and the increments are proportionate to one’s maturity in the Lord Jesus, which too is ever growing (Eph 4:15), as the Spirit of the Father “conforms” the saved in the “knowledge” and “walk” of His Son (Ro 8:13, 29; 2Pe 3:18; 1Jo 2:6). Salvation does not derive from conformation, but the inverse; and the level of attainment in the knowledge and walk to which a believer will be brought is determined upon what the Spirit revels concerning the unceasing “work” and “care” of the Father (Phl 2:13; 1Pe 5:7).

Significant spiritual growth begins when we are shown the “irrevocability” of it all (Rom 11:29)!

Great message

God will challenge us he is creating a strong character in us

I too was tested this weekend at work in my warehouse department my team consisted of myself and 2 trainees responsible for stocking the warehouse

My faith started to waver at the beginning I felt stress start to overtake me - I went on break and prayed to the Lord to ease my mind and accept what it was

Suddenly a calming sensation came over me and the song Praise the lord let his voice be heard repeated itself in my head most of the day

i know the Holy Spirit was with me because he always puts a song in my heart, not only did we stock the warehouse but had time to do other work

I gave God the praise and the Glory and thanked him for strengthening my faith once again

He wants us to lean into him to trust him and build character ?

thank you for the message

SHALOM❤️

Faith comes by hearing, the word. Then the fun begins, the testing. The trust. Use it like a muscle, and it gets stronger. No pain no gain. Never use it and it will atrophy.

Hi, and thanks for the encouraging compliment! In all that God tests us, He is teaching us to see what we have in Him. He already knows all our responses and how to use them for our growth; and growth doesn't address our salvation, but rather addresses our state in our walk, for His use and our increasing joy in Him!

I believe accepting what occurs is the key to faith because all that happens is suppose to happen or it wouldn't have happened. I find security exercising this way. It reminds us that He uses every occurrence "for good to those who love Him" (Rom 8:28).

Hi and always appreciate your encouraging replies! Whatever the difficulty, be it anxiety or another, God has already planned it for our learning, one way or another; and it's never punishment because He knows sin is never our will.

I agree with you

anxiety and fears come from the unknown if we can accept what is in front of us and trust God to guide us we can push through the anxiety

We have to say “ ok this is happening it didn’t go as planned but God has his reasons and then pray it to him to see you through?

Yes, like branches abiding / attached to the True Vine, Our Father, the Vine tender, prunes us so there is less of us, and more fruit to bear for the Vine. I have often wondered why God would prune fruit bearers, and remove things from our lives like a job or friend Etc. And realised he has a plan, perhaps a better job or a more christ-like friend. So now I don't always assume something going wrong as punishment, or chastisement but our heavenly father, the fine tender, pruning me...(cleaning)

Not I but Christ...

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
