Conformed to the truth

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Being a living sacrifice, we are told, is our spiritual service of worship to God. We are to live in a way that glorifies God. Not conforming to the world means that we should not live according to, or be negatively influenced by, the standards of our secular environment.Transformation is a continual process that happens from the inside out. Our minds should be constantly renewed or refreshed by a new way of thinking-replacing our selfish wants with desires to serve and obey God.We must change so that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.God has clearly communicated these goals to you. Where are you in this important process: presentation, conformity, or transformation?

I think it’s safe to say I am in conformity in some areas and in a transformation phase in other areas.

Im not sure what the presentation phase means.

Ask God to change you. Asking Him to mold you into what He wants you to be. And that everything in your life glorifys God. Giving God 100% control of your life and having a daily relationship with Him. Putting Him in the drivers seat of your life.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be “ conformed” to the likeness of his Son,etc,etc.

 

To be in harmony and accord with the will of God.....

and how do you know the will of God?

You must be born again to enter Gods Kingdom and become his child...only then can you start your own personal relationship with the Lord, which takes time to build and understand.....God is alive and active.

 

its a living relationship with the Lord, there he shows you his will for your life, as the Holy Spirit reveals it to you ,through the will of the Father.

You must be born again/ regenerated by God...or there is no relationship with him...zilch.🙏

 

I was also was drawn to Jesus by God, having never ever read a bible.

That is true so why did you ask me how we go about changing?

MARK 8:6  HE  answered and said unto them well hath isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites as it is written ---this people honoreth  ME  with their lips but their heart is far from  ME  ---

TITUS 1:1  paul a servant of  GOD  and an apostle of  JESUS  CHRIST  according to the faith of  GODS  elect ---and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness---

1 TIMOTHY 6:3  ---if any man teach otherwise--- and consent not to wholesome words ---even the words of our lord  JESUS  CHRIST--- and to the doctrine which is according to godliness

--6:4-- he is proud ---knowing nothing--- but doting about questions and strifes of words whereof cometh envy strife railings evil surmisings

2 JOHN 2:9  whosoever transgresseth ---and abideth --not-- in the doctrine of  CHRIST  ---HATH  NOT  GOD--- he that abideth in the doctrine of  CHRIST  --- he hath both  THE  FATHER  AND  THE  SON ---

 

CONFORMITY

1 TIMOTHY 6:6   BUT  GODLINESS  WITH  CONTENTMENT  IS  GREAT  GAIN

 

2 PETER 2:3  according as his divine power ---HATH  GIVEN--- unto us all things that pertain ---unto life and godliness--- through the knowledge of  HIM  that hath called us to glory and virtue

HEBREWS 12:24  but this man because  HE  continueth ever ---hath an unchangeable priesthood---
