I have listened to Rand and Fauci going at it and my impression is that Rand is intelligent and did a good job.

Fauci, on the other hand,  repeatedly got things wrong and contradicted himself. Particularly, regarding masks. He said things that anyone in 'healthcare', knows very well is not true.

He said, we are still learning---that is catagorically false.

Fauci's history, is questionable and this is being overly generous.

Dr. Rand Paul is an opthalmologist.  He lacks the credentials to make meaningful comments about COVID-19 and/or to dispute Dr. Fauci.  He is an attention-seeking politician, nothing more.

Anyone can make comments about COVID-19 but that doesn't make them right.  Dr Rand Paul is far less qualified to make comments than Dr. Fauci.  You don't like the latter because of what trump and his ilk say, but it's not based on knowledge and/or fact.  How about using bleach or horse wormer?  That's what trump recommended, and Paul is a faithful minion.

That could very well be true. However, Fauci, regardless of qualifications has proven himself to be wrong and unstable, if not emotionally invested if not complicit in the problem. 

Since he (as far as I know) has not fessed up to his errors, I see no reason to trust him, that is the problem!

There is a human version of Ivermectin.  Not all of Ivermectin is for horses, nor does all the horse versions have a dewormer. 

Billions of humans have taken the human version.

I am not sure where you live, but I have a very, very hard time believing that you haven't met a single Democrat who is a Christian.  Do you actually go around asking people what is their political affiliation and what is their religion?  Really?
