Jesus speaks our voice (profession) as Apostle and High Priest to God in Heaven. And the Holy Spirit speaks God's voice to us as Comforter in the earth.

Hebrews 4:[14] Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
[15] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
[16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

God created the heaven and the earth by "speaking". He then "spoke" everything in the earth into existence. Then He "formed" man in His likeness from the earth and "spoke" to the man. God didn't just speak man into existence. God made man from the earth like a potter fashions a vessel of clay.

Man was made in God's image and likeness to interact with God more intimately than any other creation. Man could communicate with God (like God) through willfully chosen and spoken words.

God created man to hear His voice and obey Him.

Adam -

Genesis 3:[8] And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
[9] And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

Abraham -

Genesis 26:[5] Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Israel -

Exodus 15:[26] And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Jesus -

John 12:[49] For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
[50] And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Holy Spirit -

John 16:[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Hebrews 3:[7] Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
[8] Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
[9] When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
[10] Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
[11] So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
[12] Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
[13] But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
[14] For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
[15] While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Joshua 5:[6] For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

God wants you to hear Him and obey that it may be well with you all your days in the earth. Listen. Shalom

Ecclesiastes 12:[13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Mark 4:[23] If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

I love the voice of God in my life.  It always humbles me and brings me to my knees when I hear Him.  There was only one time where there were actual words spoken by Him. So many times it has been in the most remarkable ways He speaks by using prayer, scripture, confirmation from other believers, phone calls, letters, notes, US Postal Service, a brain tumor, my children, my grandchildren, and so many other ways He speaks for me to hear.  He is speaking all the time to those who have the ear to hear!  It's one of my favorite sayings.  Miracles and the voice of God is all over the world!

God declares the end from the beginning. He watches over His word to perform what is spoken.

Amen and amen.

God never speaks idle (non-productive) words. If He says it, He watches over it to ensure that it comes to pass. I, personally, have to remind myself of what Jesus said about the words that I speak. I should only speak what God, Himself, would speak about anything.

Matthew 12:[36] But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
[37] For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Speaking words and the subsequent result is a principle throughout the Bible. Shalom

Ahh,theres my favorite word again, tricky little word ,only 2 letters but SOOOO POWERFULLY huge in my eyes "IF" (used to say that something must happen before another thing can happen) A "conditional" word,I like this entry in Merriam Webster "used to talk about the result or effect of something that may happen or be true. —used to discuss the imaginary result or effect of something that did not happen or that is or was not true."

So what am I going on about? Well,God Speaks to us CONSTANTLY....He is our ever Present Almighty Father that never leaves, never forsakes us....He Abides in us,He is Comforter,He is our Rest, our Rock ,our Refuge-our ALL in ALL. Our Faith "Christianity" is all about Relationship-We have a personal & intimate Relationship with God in Christ. So why does it seem He is Silent ,why do I continually hear" I cannot hear God" from Believers    If God created man to have a Relationship with Him,to hear His Voice  & to obey and one CANNOT hear or WILL NOT hear then it brings me back to the "IF" word.....hmmm.the result that happens!

In this chaotic ,busy, world full of distractions it is no wonder no one hears Gods STILL SMALL VOICE.....one must LISTEN in order to HEAR.Seems everyone is busy talking ALL THE TIME,either by yapping into their phones, texting or what have you but they just dont take a break! If not talking then listening or watching some other chatter &/or idle words

40 YEARS wandering around & around in the wilderness instead of a journey that should have taken less than 2 weeks,,,,imagine that? All because they did not LISTEN & OBEY,they were hard headed, hard hearted, caught up in their unbelief & so they could not enter into His Rest     Ahh,Prince of Peace-thats the only place I ever want to be-IN HIS REST! There it is peaceful, quiet,Comforting & I can HEAR HIM perfectly   My my,I believe I am doing a lot of rambling on here, lol, just thought I'd share all that comes to mind when I think of Gods Voice.............Praise Jesus,so Grateful Jesus Afforded me "ENTRY" by His Finished work on that cross

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
