You've missed the point of the first miracle. But that's for another thread. Everyone also wants to debate the "wine/grape juice" issue. And they ignore the primary issue. No, drinking one glass of wine before bed or with a meal is not a sin. But don't ignore this!!! The Bible clearly states that drunkenness is a sin. The average person, when they drink, drink too much. Even a little "buzz" is being drunk. I do not believe that drinking a limited amount is sinful. However, I do NOT drink and have not for the past 40 years because when I was young and was introduced to alcohol, well.....my consumption of it never turned out well. Therefore I abstain. Listen. It is not a sin to consume minor amounts of alcohol, but WITHIN the confines of staying sober. It is not a sin to have sex, but it must be WITHIN the confines of a marriage. It is not a sin to watch TV/movies, but WITHIN the confines of decent and moral themes. It is not a sin to listen to music or dance, but WITHIN the confines of decent and moral behavior. See my point? Many, who support drinking, drink too much and too often. I have a neighbor, such a nice and helpful man, who stays "buzzed" and I've seen him drunk several times. I've never seen him sober. What a waste of his life. I've talked to him about the Lord, but he believes he is a "good man". Pray for him. I think it has more to do with what people do when they drink too much. But drinking moderately not enough to affect your mental state isn't a sin. But one is responsible for what they do drunk or sober. Also take into consideration that abusing alcohol is extremely destructive to one's body.

Nothing wrong with wine, Jesus called it "the fruit of the vine" and told his disciples at the last supper that the next time they drank it together would be in heaven.
