But we are in Him. Shalom

2 Corinthians 5:[10] For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
[11] Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
[12] For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
[13] For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.
[14] For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
[15] And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
[16] Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
[18] And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
[19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
[20] Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
[21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

One of my favorites! So clear.

Another point to consider is that Jesus, our example, never argued with anyone. He simply stated the truth and went on about the Father's business.

Matthew 11:[15] He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

You are right....arguing is not the same as reasoning together

Yes, we are in him, but we aren’t perfect, you may be, but I’m certainly not, I’m being sanctified by the power of the Holy Spirit, I’m not in bondage over this, I’m resting,God is in control, I’m not. i worry about nothing,

Philippians 3:[12] Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
[13] Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
[14] I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
[15] Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
[16] Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

He works within us, to be more like Jesus, it’s not something I look up in scripture.

2 Timothy 3:[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Mark 4:[3] Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
[4] And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
[5] And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
[6] But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
[7] And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
[8] And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
[9] And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Many are learning

To learn, one must have a teachable spirit.

If one is genuinely learning, there will be evidence, e.g. Change, fruit, growth....

Rather than a constant repeating of folly

As I’ve said, we are being sanctified by the Holy Spirit..yes?

What does that mean and how does it work, when we are alive in Christ?

You also say if you are learning.

Are you learning by yourself?

what do you mean a teachable spirit?

I don't know if my answers to your questions will help bring further clarity I'm afraid.

Do you attend a church? Under the headship of a Pastor? If so, can I suggest/recommend taking your questions/queries to your church Elders?

God bless

So why not give it a go, I’ve asked you to explain, not my pastor, he didn’t post your reply, you did..I’m not looking for an argument...I am just asking you the questions that is all?

i am trying to understand you?

Of course, it is your prerogative to accept/reject my suggestion/recommendation.

God bless 😊

Not wanting to explain is not the same as not being able to explain ... Be careful.
