Guest shiloh357
I was watching the news this morning, and they said that even 3 inches of rain would overwhelm the already damaged levees in the N.O. area. We need to be in prayer.

They also seem to be drawn to the warmer waters from what I have read in the past. The gulf stream which carries warmer water north has slowed down, if this is part of the problem, we are in real trouble for the forseeable future, for the gulf will be hot for a very long time. No telling what this could do to the weather patterns. But it is time for all this to start..... unless of course the Russians were not just boasting about being able to create and direct these storms, but that would bring up things that not even I really want to get into...... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Russians what? they said they could control weather? I heard someone say today that God is taking another shot at the evacuee's by sending Rita towards Texas where a majority of the people went to. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Evacuated from where? I don't know if this has anything to do with ocean currents or not but apparently someone found a butterfly fish in this area which is very unusual. I don't even know what a butterfly fish is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have we done anything to Isreal in the last 24 hours? : <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What a question? Oh.,.....I get it...... Hmmmmmm... I don't even know what a butterfly fish is. How about butterfly pork chops? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The open sea would be good. : <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I agree sis - But, God also has ordained weather to be- well, weather...right ? How many Cat 2 Hurricanes do you know of that just "fizzle" over night ? Hurricanes tend to follow a [ somewhat ] predictable path just like any other weather pattern ( just as God created them to ). Now, I'm NOT saying God can't do it- but what I'm saying is, whilst God is indeed in control, He also ordained things to work a certain way...and if this storm follows it's path into the Gulf ( where I believe it is now ), generally speaking- it will make landfall somewhere. And I really truly do not believe that a "lack of faith" will be the cause- I believe the cause will be due to nature following her preordained plans that God designed her to follow ( like physics, etc. ). Again, just my opinion : God bless, Tim <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who are you calling sis? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Geroike? A girl??? Let's pray that God would tell the storms to "be still". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Isn't that what Jesus told us to do? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Amen...er.....He did.......uhhhhhhh one mo....did he? Who are you calling sis? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am SO sorry mate - I thought I was quoting Giaour...totally my fault I apologize my friend Tim <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We look so much alike. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was a joke. : <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know my friend- that's why I put the You want me to beg : I knew you were joking- I hope you know I was joking...seems we were both joking and both didn't know it was a joke I need to take a break I'm dizzy now Love in Christ, Tim <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My eyeballs have crossed!!!!! Guest Big Dog
Hey, That's a right nice fish. If one of those shows up on the Tx coast, we'll be sure to fry it up with french fries and hushpuppies Well, it looks like the hurricane is bearing down on us. I work for a phone company, and we're positioning personnel and equipment to be ready to roll. If I were down on the coast, I'd skedaddle!!. Went through Celia in Corpus, and it weren't no fun a-tall. Wind gusts over 200 mph ain't no place for the Big Dog.
