All things from the spiritual realm ultimately come from Hashem, and if these court magicians were performing any kind of supernatural acts it is because Hashem allowed it... (this part is my opinion not what Rabbi said).

Where is it that pharaohs people predicted the birth of moses? I missed that one.

This wikipedia page "Moses in rabbinic literature" mentions this. Personally, I've never heard anything like this before either.
