The woman in Revelation 12:6 represents the "Remnant Church" seen in Roman's chapter 11, they will be in Israel's wilderness during the 1260 day tribulation, as Jerusalem is in desolation

You will closely note Micah 7:13-18 is a detailed description of Revelation 12:6, the Remnant will be in the wilderness of Carmel, Bashan, and Gilead, they will be fed "Manna" from heaven as in the days of coming out of Egypt, the world will watch in "Fear" of the Lord's power

Revelation 12:6KJV

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Micah 7:13-18KJV

13 Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

14 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.

16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of thee.

18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

There might be some additional lessons from this.

The "REMNANT" of Romans 9:27 and 11:5 is clearly an ISRAELITE remnant.

If this be so, then the remnant show no sign of faith in Jesus. The issue here is THE LAW. "Even so ... Elijah"

This is confirmed by their portion being "THE wilderness" - The goal is never "wilderness" but Canaan

There is no word of Manna. Those who go through the Great Tribulation suffer "hunger" and "thirst" (Rev.7:16)
In Revelation 12:6 notice that it is NOT God who feeds them. The word is "THEY ... " - not "He"

I suppose this means Jesus came from the Church, and not from Israel.  IN CONTEXT those who flea are exactly who Jesus said they would be, those living in JUDEA. Sorry, but the "remnant church" does not live in Judea.

Good morning,

I have noticed that myself. Who do you suppose they are?

I have always thought 1/3rd of Israel would flee to the caves and area of Petra, Jordan, to escape genocide.

If memory serves, there seem to be anomalies in that area that messes with electronics, and something about the magnetic field changes.

Satan will flood the Jordan River to hinder them, and God will open the earth and swallow the water. For unknown reasons, Antichrist will not conquer or molest Jordan, and it will be left alone.

Who else but the Jordanians could be “they?” A one-third remnant is still a lot of mouths to feed for about 3.5 years.
