1 Corinthians 2:9 - But as it is written, Eye hath not seen,, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

I don't know whether this means there'll be animals in heaven, but I don't think we are going to miss them if they aren't there, because of this verse.

I agree. The hings ha we know now will be so unimporan o us because God will be blowing our minds in Heaven

My guess is there will be animals in heaven. When Jesus returns he'll be riding a white horse and all the saints behind him will be on white horses. Also, what about when the bible says the lamb will lie down with the lion. That surely isn't going to happen here on earth. Anyway, I don't know if the bible is specific on it, but I sure hope animals will be there. I can't wait to be reunited with my dogs!!! :whistling:

This topic creates some entertaining speculation. What sort of animals are in heaven, and what happens to the rest of them? Are all dinosaurs going to be there in heaven? Trylobites? Saber-toothed tigers?

What about the microscopic parasites and cuckoo birds? Cuckoos are the birds that lays their eggs one at a time in another bird's nest, and then the young invading hatchling pushes the rest of the chicks out of the nest while feeding from the unsuspecting foster mother. Surely, such birds wouldn't be allowed in heaven. Such behavior is a result of the sin of Adam and Eve, I have been told. Maybe cuckoo birds and all the predatory/parasitic animals go to Hell. If so, the T. Rex would go to heaven. There is growing speculation that he was never a predator at all, but a scavenger.

I am definately no bible scholor but perhaps i can offer some clarification as i understand it.

I think a few of the verse you have posted may be otu of context which is where the confusion is coming from. these again are just my understanding and may nto be fact so by all means we should all seek the answers for ourselves but perhaps it will be helpful.

Luke 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

generally in the bible when they talk about flesh it is usually in the sense of the human body nto so much the skin of animals, the word flesh is used to describe both but form what i have read many cases in the bible when it mentions the word flesh it is referring to sinful man kind fo like the verse that says the spirit is willign btu the flesh is weak, it's nto referring to a dog or a cat but mankind and sin nature.

Luke 12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

this verse i can definately see how we could interpret it as such but again if you look at the context of the chapter it doesn't line up. the basis for this verse is talkign about man again, if you look at the chapter it's talkign about what God remembers of our sins and there are other verses ( can't think of where atm) where it talks about how God provides for the ravens and yet how much mroe important to him are we than ravens, or somethign to that effect. i do believe God remembers every animal but i don't think when you read through the chapter carefully that it has any solid thign to base this ebing abotu where animals go.

Ecclesiastes 3:19-20 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

key to remember here is that our flesh does nto go to heaven, we get new bodies all animals and mankind go to the same place in the flesh human bodies decompose as do all animals we eventually all end up in the same place, however what we decide to do during our lives as humans determines where our spirit goes.

Revelation 5:13 13And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

this oen i am not sure but i would say from just reading this verse it is nto talkign abotu dead animals under the earth but animals thta live underground given that all the other thigns mentioned seems to refer to living animals.

hopefully this is helpful i am definately no bible guru or anything but most of these seem to just be taken out of context.

Josh

Does this issue bother anyone else in a moral sense? I am bothered by the possible reality that animals are put on this earth, ultimately doomed to live out an existence similar to ours, but then die and turn to dust. Why are they cursed to live a meaningless existence in a painful world, then die and be no more?

Does this cause anyone to worry that we are nothing more than animals? Why should we believe that we have a soul, and they do not (I know the Biblical answer, that we are created in God's image, but I am looking for something more abstract here. Try to answer this question without assuming belief in the Bible ahead of time).

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
