Born of God with out natural father.
Sinless life according to the law.
Preformed miracles.
Revealed God’s prophetic word with out a teacher.
Died on the cross.
Resurrected in the flesh.
Translated location.
Caught up to heaven.

Adam had no father or mother.

Zacharias and Elizabeth concerning commandments and ordinances were blameless. Paul concerning the law was blameless.

In the OT and the NT men performed miracles.

Paul was not taught by man.

Many accounts of men dieing on a cross.

Some resurrected from the dead.

Some were translated.

Some were caught up.

These things are and were visible signs that many trust their faith in but isn’t faith believing with out seeing? What is the evidence of things not seen?

Oh wretched man that I am by who and how can I be delivered from this bondage of sin that is in my flesh?

Only Christ can save sinners from eternal damnation.

The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is made up of four definable messages.

Through Christ:

1. God Rescues = Salvation

2. God Forgives = Reconciliation

3. God Cleanses = Sanctification

4. God Fills with Hope = Expectation

Worship as an outward manifestation consisted of falling to the ground before someone in humble reverence. However, Christ said we would worship in spirit and truth, which we express as rational service unto Him as our Lord and Savior.

Romans 12:1

NKJV I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

NIV  Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

NASB Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

Orthodox Jewish I appeal to you, therefore, Achim b’Moshiach, through the rachamei Hashem (mercies of G-d), to present your geviyah (BERESHIS 47:18), all of your being as a korban chai (living sacrifice), kadosh (holy) and acceptable to Hashem (BERESHIS 8:21), which is your spiritual avodas kodesh service.

Thanks for your response and I agree with all the above.

The old man can receive these things you offered, what is your understanding of the new creature (2Co 5:16,17)?

Should I edit the topic to Why do we have faith in Christ?

I would have to say that the responses already posted would hold best if you leave the title as is. It is a good question. My point is that outward worship can be for show, i.e. anyone can get on there face, our worship requires our dedicated service. Therefore, the thread is fine, and a good one I might add.

Thank you for your response Mr. M.

I believe nothing on my part is required of me to worship or have faith in Christ through the operation of God. It to me is a gift from above.

The old creation is born of the flesh.

The new creation is born of the Spirit.

Amen, well said Michael.

My brother's name is Michael I miss him and love him dearly.

2Co 5:15  And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2Co 5:16  Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more
2Co 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new
2Co 5:18  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Your key points:

1. God Rescues = Salvation

2. God Forgives = Reconciliation

3. God Cleanses = Sanctification

4. God Fills with Hope = Expectation

Did any of these things become new with the context of we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
