If that is so it may have something to do with it. If the relative spin speed ends us as slower it might cause the flip. Not sure if it would be a problem if it more or less instant, but if it goes down to nothing for any length of time, supposedly most of us will die. A very good question, and there are things we can do. "A concern?" Does not imply anyone should worry, about anything for that matter. The point being, is it even a legitimate claim scientifically, for the sake of scientific curiosity. "Science and Faith" is a bit of a misnomer for me since my faith has nothing to do with science, be it creationism, etc...but there are concerns with regards to deceptions that we can uncover and expose. For many, they seem to hang on Science OR Faith. Nothing wrong with faithful people exposing bad science, or showing solid evidence to support the science that is compatible with the Biblical record.
