Greetings.

I would like to understand and know what the fight against principalities and powers looks like to other people, other Christians, in day to day life.  General examples of persecution in some sense are welcome.

It's important to separate persecution from paranoia.  P and P.

Thank you

I'm very surprised that nobody has answered this question so far.  It's interesting.

I thought Christians are supposed to be warring with Satan a lot of the time.  And nobody has anything to say?

Hi Dave.   I try to keep my eyes on the Lord rather than on the warfare or persecution.

I'll move your topic to the ask a question forum.   You might get more responses there.

Hi Dave,

Now, demons watch us and see our weakness or strengths and work to undermine those.

For example if some one is very zealous for the Lord, the demons may try to tell the person in their inner voice to do something and now. If the person thinks it is the Lord telling them they may do it. If they don`t do it they will feel guilty and thus they will try and do the thought next time. And so on, trying not to get a guilty feeling. The enemy has that person trapped into believing the inner voice of the demon is the Lord.

Then there are demons that try and get busy people burdened down with `must do` jobs, and run the person ragged. The person`s own drivenness is exacerbated by the demon.

Then someone who loves to talk will get pushed further by a demon and thus becomes so talkative that they give people headaches.

So, you see any behaviour that goes to the extreme is incited by a demon that has been watching that person.

Note these all comes through the thought life which we are to address. (2 Cor. 10: 3 - 6)

regards, Marilyn.

Satan is wise enough  to know that apathy is his greatest weapon.

For the average  christian there are two areas of conflict.

Resisting temptation and actually saying something about Christianity.
