..."Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him, “Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you,  and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark; it is for every beast of the earth.  I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”  And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations:  I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.  When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds,  I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.  When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”  God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.”3f9e6abf59e322b945e6f64035685b8d.png.2bdbf55301b471e900b5204f3a084156.png

This is quite appropriate for I have been spending the morning

meditating on the nature and fundamentals of the physics of light.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and

declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

I always picture the Spirit hovering in darkness and God saying let there be light… His spirit, as we read throughout scripture, is light!
A rainbow, (sign of promise), is made from light- into 7 individual colors. God is light, and scripture speaks of His 7 spirits, or ‘7 eyes’… The Spirit, Himself, is a promise.

No doctrinal fodder or speculation here, but a cool observation, nonetheless.

The main reason we have so much needless doctrine is people ignore basic instructions!

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Psalm 104:34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.

Most importantly:

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

It is for this reason; that people prefer to debate rather than meditate on truth, that they end up in opposition and push the boundaries of the Lord's intent.

Revelation 22:

18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;

19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

May I offer a contrary thought?

I understand doctrine to be closely held truths. Don't know what  closely held truth might be needless. Seems to me there is no such thing as a needless doctrine, that instead if something is needless it is not doctrine.

Instructions are not doctrine.

The Rainbow Covenant is between God and earth. Earth is specifically Abraham and his descendants, all the animals, and all that is on earth.

Interesting that Satan also has much of the world fearing global flooding today as part of the global climate change speculations.

Satan has  stolen the sign of the rainbow and is tying  to make it  be seen as a sign of prideful debauchery against God worldwide.  I suggest it is time to take back recognition of the sign  of the covenant between God and earth from Satan.

Doctrine=teaching, instruction, learning

Needless doctrines are overcome by the truth in Christ.

Ephesians 4:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro,

and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men,

and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things,

which is the head, even Christ:

Doctrines of men=dogma, from which the truth has set us free.

Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is,

the law of commandments contained in ordinances, ('ordinances'=dogma)

so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace.

If you have your own definition of doctrine,

you thoughts will inevitably be contrary.

Mark 7:

6 He answered and said unto them, Well has Isaiah

prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written,

This people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me,

teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. =needless doctrine

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some

will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits

and doctrines of demonsNot just needless, but malevalent.

Did you add = needless doctrine?

The teaching by men are not doctrine so much as instruction regarding opinion of how a truth is to be applied at best  and a complete turning about of doctrine at worst. Doctrine itself is not needless. Men's teachings using doctrine as their excuse certainly can be.

I don't know of any 'equal signs' in scripture, so yep.

I never said that doctrine is needless. I promote apostolic doctrine,

the doctrine of Christ, by quoting scripture.

Needless doctrine comes from men or demons, as the scriptures

clearly attest. I am not sure what point you are trying to make.

The apostles were men, in Christ.

2 Timothy 3:10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine,

manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance...

What you are describing is opinion, which you share often,

even as you are now, without offering any scripture in support.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
