I live in Minnesota and we have had several days of thick smoke from these fires.  There was so much of it that it was like fog.  It made everything look orange.  It smelled like smoke too.

Aah finally some really good heavy rain. Thank  you Lord! Rain so heavy during the night into this morning that we have had no satellite internet  till just a few minutes ago. Oh my, the world without internet, it is a scary place. Not!

But I do miss the convenience and WCF especially for some news of news.

Just after typing the above I saw the utility company truck come into the area, and then  the power went out. It is back on already, hey pretty good service to be out here before the power gets zapped!

I think we are getting closer to when 1/3 of all earth's trees get burned (Revelation 8:7) due to the love mankind has for the things his hands make (Revelation 9:20), which today are through fossil fuel burning industries. Lots of fires in Europe and Siberia now too.

Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Revelation 9:20  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Seems much like this is  a time of the signs, if not the time of the signs.

Guess if I am to be around during many of these signs I have a personal wish/prayer that the gnats and mosquitos be burned up first.

I think there might be a plague of gnats. I can hardly get out of my car  when  in Georgia, USA- they are there, waiting for me personally I think. My wife says it is because I am so sweet.

Yeah sure dear. Have a gnat? They are good once you acquire a taste for them.

I can hardly wait to get back to Florida and fire ants.

Fires are definitely still burning, but the amount of smoke is not too bad at the moment. I think there was some rain that knocked it down.

We had that here too. Gave a strange tint to everything, like you say orange. Seems to be gone now but we get these periodic air quality alerts. Can look beautiful out and still get an AQ alert.

The smog has been so heavy that I had put off painting  a patio, but when it started raining I went for it. Course now  with the high  humidity the paint doesn't dry well. Oh well, more time between coats or back brush it while it is wet I guess.

Looks like the light rain will continue awhile. Perhaps a good thing! I do wonder if the smoke is above the rain clouds too or if the rains  are knocking it all down.

Maybe it is a personal blessing in that it is also slowing this old body down. I am settling for getting done  about half of what I would normally demand of my body.

Makes me wonder just a bit as to what colors will our spiritual body's eyes perceive, and will there be maintenance at the New Earth?

There seems to be an abundance of Bud Light.
