Your main problem is that you are seeing the present moment of time and basing everything on it, not something a few months to a year in our future which can change the landscape of everything.

Also, he's looking on the macro level instead of digging down deep. I can look at any place where they have crime and say that is dangerous, but if the nations all around that nation are at peace, then there is no REAL THREAT of War !! The living in Unwalled Villages is simply a way for God to say Israel just before the Gog and Magog war will be at peace with all her neighbors. In olden times a nation who didn't put up walls was indeed at peace with her near neighbors.  So, that message is relayed, God understands the difference between a local conflict and Nations at peace.

Those WALLS to keep out lone bombers will not come down, yet Israel is at Peace (SEE the Abraham Accords) with her immediate neighbors. The UAE Royal Airplane landed in Israel a few months back for the first time ever. The Iran Nuke Threat has brought Israel and her neighbors to PEACE, Trump was elected for that sole purpose IMHO, nor Dem or Republican would have brought that to pass.

When is now?  Was it 100 years ago.  You may have the same argument for the next 20 years.  The problem is;  have all been gathered of those who have been gathered. Are more to be gathered from the nations.  Not until the All are there can the safety issue come into play.  Can you prove that all have been gathered?

In Christ

Montana Marv

No one has gathered them.

The Jews have been moving themselves from one country to another.

The Lord doesn't gather Israel till he comes so no,all Israel has not been gatherd from the ends of heaven.

Mathew 24

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Ive already told you ,Ezekiel 37 is when Israel is taken up out of their graves.Christ does that at his coming.

John 5

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Your the one who has said that Israel has already been brought up out of their graves. But the people you claim have been brought up out of their graves are being lowed into them.

What the Bible says about God Scattered His People
(From Forerunner Commentary)

Ecclesiastes 3:5

“Gather” and “scatter” make a couple frequently encountered in the Scriptures. In Matthew 12:30, Christ clarifies that, from His viewpoint, gathering and scattering are opposites and are therefore mutually exclusive: “Anyone who is not for Me is really against Me; anyone who does not help Me gather is really scattering” (Good News Translation [GNT]; see also Luke 11:23). You cannot do both at once.

However, as Ecclesiastes 3:5 avers, it is possible to scatter and gather at different times. Through the prophet Jeremiah, God announces that He does just that—scatters today and gathers tomorrow: “I scattered My people, but I will gather them and guard them as a shepherd guards his flock” (Jeremiah 31:10, GNT). God “scattered over the whole earth” the descendants of Ham, Japheth, and Shem (Genesis 9:19, New International Version [NIV]). Later, He scattered the House of Israel, using the Assyrian as His agent (II Kings 17:7-18). Still later, He employed the Babylonian to scatter the folk of Judah—all but the “poorest of the land” (II Kings 25:12), a pitiful remnant.

Finally, He hired the Romans to disperse the Jews from Jerusalem and surrounding territories. In doing so, they “destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city” (Matthew 22:7). They carried at least some of the accouterments of the Temple service to Rome. Someone disassembled the altar. The blood sacrifices ceased. The diaspora commenced in earnest. Yes, indeed, yesterday, God did plenty of scattering.

Charles Whitaker (1944-2021)

@NConly Interesting quote there, particularly re. the pair of words 'gather' and 'scatter'. Shows how sovereign is the Lord, indeed.

There will be peace and those walls will come down. When the attack comes, THERE WILL BE NO PHYSICAL WALLS. The attack will be against UNWALLED VILLAGES, just like it says.

Gog, Magog is after the 1000 years.

Revelation 20

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

WHAT ARE THE CLEARLY WRITTEN EASY TO FOLLOW ORDER OF EVENTS

at CHRIST RETURN??

11And I saw heaven opened,
and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.

12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

The Lord is love. Their duration in the fire depends on the Lords wrath.

That is a statement of Roman Catholic doctrine.   It is not consistent with Biblical context.

Roman Catholic doctrine on the duration of a dead person in the grave is dependent upon prayers uttered on their behalf by the living.  Such prayers are written on PRAYER CARDS which may be read by a priest, by the family of a departed person or by a single person.

PRAYER CARDS are available for purcha$e from Catholic parishes. They are also available at a discounted rate on Amazon or eBay.  Check it out.

The Bible nowhere states that a human spirit lingers between worlds after death.  This is entirely a money making proposition on the part of the RCC.

Indeed the Bible teaches that no part of the human naturally survives physical death. When a human dies it dies the same as any cockroach or sick dog.

Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. (Ecclesiastes 3:19)

The single exception to the destiny of humans after death is the Second Birth.  Those that have accepted the Grace of God and received it will survive death.  Those that don't - will die.

There is no such thing as eternal torment according to the Bible.   The entire idea is a fear mongering device to elicit donation$.

that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

And again, you fail to accept the written Word of God as you do not seem to believe what He says. You seem to have a need to make things up, because you lack understanding.

Someday hopefully you will learn to just accept what is written as it all falls together perfectly if you just let it.
