The Bible strictly forbids our praying to dead people, to their spirits, to angels, or to anyone but our God in trinity, Father, son and Holy Spirit. If we are truly walking in love, then because we do not want to see anyone go to hell... we must be willing to tell people that believe false doctrine that... it's not biblical And then know God's Word good enough to be able to tell them what the truth is. In this case tell them Jesus did not say to pray to mary, and here's what Jesus said about prayer: John 16:23,24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 14:13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:6 I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved Sadly many catholics will say "yes, we believe these bible verses are true!" and then turn right around and pray to mary!
