Why don't the Jews practice animal sacrifice anymore?

This seems rather amazing as the temple and sacrifice are at the core of their religion. You would think some of the more devout 'fundamentalist' Jews would have at least erected a tabernacle or something as it was done in the days before Solomon built the temple. Is there no remnant version of animal sacrifice left at all?

Sometime after the destruction of the temple in A.D. 70 a council was held. The decision was to replace the blood offerings with prayer offerings.

They will start the animal sacrifice again when the temple is rebuild, sometime in the Tribulation.

Remember that the AC is going to settle in the temple ( in the middle of the tribulation) and then the people of Israel will know who the A.C. really is.

They did already find the perfect red heiffer.

I don't find your post logical, Angels4U, in my way of understanding. If the people in Israel recognize the AntiChrist then why would they perform animal sacrifices? I would think if they were unveiled enough to see the AntiChrist for what he is, then they would also finally turn to Jesus, wo did away with animal sacrifices, by ultimately fulfilling the law of sacrifice once and for all.

BTW, where does it say that animal sacrifice will begin again once the temple is built?

It is anticipated that the animal sacrifices will commence once the temple is rebuilt. After the first destruction of the temple in the O.T. the sacrifices were stopped, but then recommenced once it was rebuilt. I believe that the AC will not be recognized by the Jews.

First when a Jew recognizes that Yeshua is the Messiah they still observe the Torah as YHWH commands. So they will offer up sacrifices to YHWH as a remembrance to HIM. Not in anyway as for salvation. You miss understand Yeshua fulfilling the Torah and the Prophets.

The Good News According to Matthew

5:17 Don't think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I didn't come to destroy, but to fulfill. 18 For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the Torah, until all things are accomplished. 19 Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Good News According to Matthew

23:1 Then Yeshua spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples, 2 saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees sat on Moses' seat. 3 All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don't do their works; for they say, and don't do.

We still must obey what YHWH tells us for HE never changed. HE has been the same since the beginning. He gave us the Torah and the Prophets to teach us to live Seperate from the World. Yet we see so many teaching the nations to go against the Teachings which Torah basically means.

Can't you assume that once the Temple is rebuilt that the Jews will of course commence the Sacrifices according to YHWH's Commandments? :D

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
