We do not live in a theocracy. Here in the USA, we live under as a Republic with constitutional law directing our legal system. The freedoms given by that document does not allow discrimination against any religion. So... "Where is the church?" I am assuming it's obeying the law even though we don't like it. I guess no one locally was willing to take the chance on a year in jail to destroy it... Especially since they could just replace it at any time. Rewriting our laws to get rid of it without hurting everyone is really tricky. We faced this several years ago and decided in our Oklahoma Supreme court to remove all religious things from the capitol. I didn't like it, but I can't do anything about it.
