Americans are old the nation is one of old people with need of personal care. Who will be the caregivers of tomorrow within the USA?

Who are they today for that matter?

Without immigrants lots of immigrants there will be no caregivers!

My mother lived to be 93, had need of care for over two decades, 24/7 care for one decade. Between family and hired help the need was great. It required hiring the only people willing to do the work - immigrants. Even then the cost, the minimum legal cost exceeded 23 dollars an hour. Who natural born in America will work today for an employees share of that? None! America needs immigration lots of it.

Isn't that like saying that Ame4rica needs a new permanent underclass that will effectively be a replacement for the old slave class?

In Holland the ones who mainly do it (part time) are women who are married, so their man gets most of the income in and it doesn't matter. It's just an extra. But people are getting older. Nobody wants a load of kids. But most rather have an easier job that pays more.

In Denmark they want to keep their money for themselves and immigrants are not welcome, because that costs them money if they don't find a job. But I read somewhere that now they are getting old (first the Netherlands and then Denmark have relatively the most old people from Europe) and now they get a problem.

Something to consider, something most people never think of, is the situation in Japan and how they are looking to handle it.  Japan has practically no immigrant population, they keep themselves as close to being 100% ethnically Japanese country as possible(currently around 98% ethnic Japanese).  Immigration is pretty much not allowed there.

I think that is one of the reasons that they are becoming so advanced in robotics and AI, to make up for the lack of younger workers to fill service positions.

In parts of Canada - the West - the coffee franchises such as Tim Horton's find it hard at times to recruit ppl to work there because local ppl don't want to work there.

So the franchisees recruit temporary workers from places such as the Philippines where ppl are keen to come to Canada to work on a temporary visa.

But..............then the local ppl who didn't want to work at Tim Horton's become resentful of the Asian workers.

One cannot have it both ways: refusing to work at places where there is work available and then simultaneously becoming resentful at those who are willing to work there.

The slaves must work and be quiet and live in a tent so we can live in luxury. You see the same here. Slaughter houses, most gruesome work, horribly paid, nobody wants to do that, so Polish do such jobs to send money to their family. If a Dutch person doesn't want to work they are forced to look for work, but only a a well paid cosy job if you have a diploma and not really forced. They are not gonna tell someone with a phd that they have to work at the KFC, nooo the work must be fitting and they get govt money. I know a Dutch guy who refused to work for 20 years now and he lives in a big fat govt house for 300 euro with his cat and dog, while I live in a 1 bedroom with 3 teens, which is not that bad. Once we helped a Polish guy who was wandering on the street at night. Let him stay with us. He was kicked out of the small house he lived in with 2o others. Unbelievable and he paid a lot for it and he worked full time. Then they whine: They take our jobs and houses!

Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! 2 Your riches [a]are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. 4 Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.

Huh?  Hmm, interesting in that  there have been documentary news reports that North Korea supplies the laborers for Polish shipyards because the Polish native population refuses to work at  them.

I am pretty sure it was PBS that ran a series on how many European countries are doing the same thing as their own populations of native born will not work.

"Of all the egregious forms of modern day slavery, none is more despicable or far reaching than the export of slave labor by North Korea. It's estimated that North Korean slave labor is utilized in over 45 countries around the world, including in the European Union, and entails the exploitation of between 100,000 and 200,000 individuals. The government of North Korea and various affiliated organizations "earn" an estimated two to three billion dollars yearly from the exploitation of its citizens as slave labor. As economic sanctions have bitten deeper into North Korea's economy, Pyongyang has responded by steadily increasing the number of laborers it exports."  https://www.military.com/daily-news/2017/07/10/how-north-korea-uses-slave-labor-exports-to-circumvent-sanctions.html

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
