Hi,

O.K

Am sorry but i dont understand. How can u all even think leave alone believe that Jesus was poor. Jesus, The Prince of Peace, The Lord of Lords was poor? Jesus is God with us.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God" Jesus was and is the Word. Jesus is God and was there from the beginning of time.

To shorten this; How can God be poor?

He only lived a HUMBLE life. Thats the difference.

God bless!!!

How can you call something biblical, satanic? theres scripture throughout the bible continuously that backs up "ask and it will be given" "in Jesus name" "by his stripes we are healed" there is scripture after scripture. So dont give me your blindfold views, without scripture.

Just because there are Scriptures in the bible does NOT mean that every theology based off of them are biblical. Joseph Smith used Scripture, David Koresh used Scripture. People use Scripture all the time and misinterpret them to support their twisted theology. The "faith healing" theology is one of those teachings that rely very heavily on experience/emotions and very little on Scripture. Even the Scriptures you've referred to are misapplied and misinterpreted (as Super Jew has shown). You can't pluck a verse out of it's context and use a Strong's concordance to develop doctrine. Well, I suppose you can...but then you end up with people like Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland :)

As far as Tess's mum goes, and her experience. i didnt say anything but, someone who sticks by God when there life falls apart is a mature and sensible Christian because God is the only way. So i commend her sticking with God.

I didnt explain properly. I dont mean to say God wants us to pray properly, thats the wrond way of putting it. What i mean is that some people see things in the bible, and believe them but dont take them seriously, or dont take them litterally, like for today. So they think, "Gods a sovereing God... so if he heals me he heals me, if he doesnt, he doesnt. His will." and they throw prayers up in hope, not in certainty. Its terrible that the sickness took her, but certain that God would have then used it for His glory so that she did not die in vain.

First of all, the sickness didn't "take her". God was in charge of the whole thing, He allowed it to happen according to His perfect will. Secondly, again, you are placing all of the responsibility for a physical healing on the type of prayer, or the person's faith. This burden is misplaced. God alone is the Healer, He alone is the Giver of life, He alone ordains the number of days each person has and He alone bares the responsibility to heal or not to heal. It is not up to me or you or any particular "faith prayer". There is no prayer or scripture that magically makes God do anything. He is not subject to anyone or anything. If He desires to heal a person physically, He will. If He desires instead, to give them grace through their suffering, He'll do so...and it's all for His glory.

I dont demand things off God. i ask. like He tells us to. So i trust that He keeps His word like He says He does. And, every time, He does. Coz i dont ask Him for things that arent in line with His will.

If you presume He should heal everyone physically EVERYTIME, then you are presuming (which isn't faith at all). You're believing something that He never promised.

i agree that your prayers will only be answered if there in line with God's will. So, all throughout the bible it says its His will for his people to be healthy and prosperous.... so if your asking in His will.... Jesus died so we dont have to have all that junk.

So, you have summarized Jesus' entire life and ministry by saying the reason He gave His life was so that we could all be healthy and prosperous? What Bible are you reading? Jesus' mission was not to make you materially or physically comfortable. His mission was to redeem you, to spiritually free you from the bondages of the enemy. Ironically enough, one of the most powerful yokes that satan puts on us is the lie of materialism. Unfortunately, through WOF preachers and much of modern Christianity, this has seeped into doctrines leaving us with blatant lies like "name-it-claim-it" theology. Your summary of Jesus' mission is a gross misrepresentation of Christ's heart and intent. It's a distortion of the truth in the worst degree. Here's what Scripture teaches us was Christ's mission:

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor." Isaiah 61:1-3

Nowhere in there does it state His purpose was to heal every disease and make everyone rich. I've never read any account of someone who followed Christ becoming fincancially prosperous (especially by exploiting His name). In fact, history teaches us that the large majority of those who followed Christ gave their lives in the most horrific ways you can imagine. THEY SUFFERED. Paul and Silas were often in jail, not making any income. Paul was supported by the kindness of the churches that he visited. I personally know missionaries to other countries who can barely rub two coins together, they don't own homes, some of them don't even own bibles (for safety reasons), and yet...they are the most "prosperous" people that I know (in the spiritual sense). Wealth and health do not define prosperity. Prosperity is a state of the heart and spirit that can be present with or without health and wealth.

Bluebird1, I've seen you refer to Scriptures but have yet to see you actually quote any verses and use proper interpretation to explain them. If you're going to insist that you've found the "truth", please enlighten us and show us how you came to this belief. I'm also curious as to how you reconcile all of the Scriptures regarding suffering. For instance: I Peter 4:19, James 1:2-4, Phil. 3:10. And how do you explain Paul? Job? How do you explaing Psalm 23? Isaiah 43:1-4? Throughout the Bible God promises He will BE WITH us THROUGH hard times.Through the fire, through the storm, through the pain ..... not that He will remove all of it, but that He will be there WITH US THROUGH IT. I think He wants us to find comfort in knowing He's there...not in hoping He'll take all the trials away.

One last note, you can stop with the guessing on why my mom was not healed. So far, it's been brought up that 1) her faith was weak 2) she didn't say the right prayer 3) she didn't study the bible enough 4) she didn't know all of God's promises 5) she just "hoped" instead of being "certain", etc, etc, etc. All you can come up with are excuses because you cannot explain why a godly woman who prayed and asked God to heal her was not healed (the way you think she should've been). It rocks your theology, so you have to try to explain it away. It doesn't line up with your own experiences, thus..you have to place the blame somewhere. You can stop. I get very defensive when someone starts assuming things about my mom's heart and her faith. The doctrine you are trying to push here is not of God. I get very frustrated because I have seen this type of teaching wound so many godly people....and during their most vulnerable time. Let me just set the record straight right here: my mother trusted God completely with her life. So much so that she placed the burden of healing on His shoulders and trusted that whatever He did with her was all for the best. If she was healed physically, it was for His glory. If He decided not to heal her physically, she was determined that this was also for His glory. She considered grace through suffering as a miracle, though people like you and WOF teachers dismiss it as if it's a second-hand blessing. She prayed, she prayed CONSTANTLY and fervently. She posted Scriptures all over our house to remind herself of God's promises and His truth, and to remember that He is good even when the circumstances say otherwise. But ultimately, she trusted God enough to know His ways are not our ways. She believed that whether she lived or died, she belonged to Him and that even if she lost her physical life..it only meant being with Him face to face. She didn't consider that as a bad thing.

In summary, one of the dangers of the "faith healing" message is that it places WAY too much authority and power in the hands of satan (or ourselves). God is Soveriegn. He is never taken by surprise when someone dies, and He never shakes His head and thinks "Gosh, if only they had known about that scripture in Isaiah." or "Gee, I wish he would've just believed I would heal him, then I could've done something!" Do you see how ridiculous that is? The Bible teaches us that God is in control of our days... He has His own way concerning the lifespan of His children:

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heaven: a time to be born and a time to die...." Ecc. 3:1-2a

"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

"There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord." Proverbs 22:30

So If it wasn't God's purpose for my mom to die..how did death succeed? Who is more powerful than God?

I'm anxious to hear the Scriptures you're referring to and see them in context. When you do post them, I hope that you'll respond to this post as well as the Scriptural interpretations that Super Jew gave earlier. Thanks.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
