Assuming an alien race has managed to achieve even half light speed, and assuming they can do it almost instantaneously from rest, it would take seven years to get here from that distance. Assuming they have life spans similar to our own, or even live much longer, seven years is still quite a long time to be cooped up in a space ship. Do you honestly think they'd travel all that distance just to kidnap a few people? What is the first thing anybody has done in human history upon discovering new livable land? Oh yeah, colonize. We even have colonies in Antarctica. If there really were aliens capable of visiting the earth, we'd know it. There would be undeniable proof because they'd be attempting to colonize earth on just as big a scale as Europe colonized America. WSB, the concept of this article is so hysterically funny and unreal to even put this much thought into it, bro! Remember, it's Weird and Wacky News, not World News!
