These are the training grounds for the battles that the Christian would face on his pilgrimage. When you became that new man, many will oppose you as you testify to the truths that you have within for the salvation of man.   Yes, indeed, the devil would oppose, but the beliver puts on the FULL ARMOR of God as he trods on.

Be strong, brother as you continue the journey, for the Christian is fearless with the spiritual war that he has entered for the rest of his life.

I would say don't blame him for the actions of others. Now I don't condone all of his actions, but his actions did lead to a lot of good as well.

I mean he's not even the first man of this nature that God's used.

Abraham was a horrible father.

Moses was a murderer.

King David was an adulterer and a murderer.

King Solomon was a womanizer.

Samson was not only selfish but also a womanizer who let his lust control him.

Matthew was a tax collector.

Paul before coming to Christ was a persecutor of the saints.

In fact going through the Bible many of the people God chose to use would not only be considered immoral by our standards, but they would make Calvin look positively tame by comparison.

God has His plan, and He uses corrupt men to do it.

Which is good, because we are all corrupt. None of us are perfect and we all come with our own moral baggage.

Calvin was a product of his time. We look back on him and say hey look at all this evil he did, but to many don't take into account the time he was in. Luthor and Armenian were every bit the extremists Calvin was, but I don't see you going after them.

None of us are perfect. But it helps to take into context the world historical figures lived in to understand the why they did what they did, and it helps to remember that just like them, were sinners to, and we are all in need of the same grace.

All I can say is that God alone has righteous judgement and leave it at that.

They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.
John 16:2‭-‬3 NKJV

He let a Jewish christian be burned because of how he saw the Trinity and I looked it up but could not find that he was sorry. They warned him, but he refused to listen.

Wherever you go, and whatever you do, keep Jesus close.  Let the Spirit lead.

Hebrews 12:1-2

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Personally . . . I'd prefer you stay around. I can't tell you how many times I remarked after reading your posts/ops:

"Ahh Magoo . . . you've done it again!" meaning I like what you have said!

Please read many of the previous posts and reconsider.

Either way . . . Grace and Peace to you and yours . . .

We must always evaluate the spirit of a thing... we are either leading and encouraging others to the truth or we are not... it is no difficult thing to understand what spirit it is when given this litmus! Of course, we are in a place darkness and evil BUT we are to be light leading to truth not condemnation for who and where they are... I believe most know there is something very wrong here and condemning them for who and where they are?  Christ never so instructed us to do so...

John 3:17 (KJV)

[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

[18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

[19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

We don't have to condemn anyone it is built within their practice...

You've completely missed my point but that's ok I see no further point to this discussion. Have a good one.

Your participation will be missed, @Mr. M but we are used to members coming and going here, and our community will continue to promote spiritual life and growth among whosoever will believe in Jesus Christ.

Of the 500 or so threads I initiated there remains quite a few that many have never viewed if they did not venture often into that forum, including:

Bible Study

General Discussion

Apologetics

      Defense of the Gospel

      Science and Faith

      The Universal Moral Law

      The Substance of Man

Theology

      Understanding Hebrew roots

      Gifts of the Spirit

      Spiritual Warfare

Prophecy/Eschatology

My Clubs

In other words, there is no reason to miss my threads now that I will no longer be posting OP's, I have already been missed probably a few hundred times.   :flag_of_truce:

You can still find me, and if a response is made on any I will react/respond back.

The perfect post should get a brilliant emoji or something.
