I think we each may receive something different from What @WordSword has posted. My take away is that we must keep our faith at the forefront of our minds through good and bad times The Spirit is there working without our asking.

Assist, or Enable

Perhaps a choice not for the making as God the Holy Spirit  is the helper that enables me, assisting me in all matters when I seek out the word of God for application in my daily life's activities.

@NConly Often I think of Hebrews 12.2: "Looking unto Jesus, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
