2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light

Genesis 32:30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel:

I also believe Light only exists from God, who is the Word, Light, God.

However, it was the light (of God) shared to me by an old faithful believer.
That light he shared shone into my heart, and a child was born.
 

I have taken that light I hid in my heart and shared to those in darkness.
Some received that light, and passed it on also.

I believe the light can/does exist in believers, also. We didn't create it.
We received it and we share it. It is really Good News to share.

Matthew 24:42-44 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

 

The faith of a watchman is to be in a place of clear vision,

While requiring the humility to receive correction.

Habakkuk 2:

1 I will stand my watch
And set myself on the rampart,
And watch to see what He will say to me,
And what I will answer when I am corrected.

2 Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;

Though it tarries, wait for it;

The isolation of long watching will end

when the Lord brings back the Captivity.

When the Lord brings back Zion.

 

The watchman is an intercessor in Zion

Isaiah 62:6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,
7 And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

 

Watchman receive the exhortation:

1 Corinthians 16:

13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 

14 Let all that you do be done with love.

 

As did Moses, watchman stand in the gap before 

the Lord to speak to Him face to face.

Deuteronomy 34:10 And there arose not a prophet since 

in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face.

Let those who have eyes see! 

Peniel means "a place where we turn the corner."  It can be the corner of a building.  It can also be a turning of your eyes and heart towards God.  It can be for us as it was with Jacob.  When we look to God and see His light we are forever changed. 

Genesis 32:30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel:
