The LBGTQ community I think is past need of such corporate support. They dominate much of the local communities  and the economy around where I live.  Personally I am thinking  the spiritual battle tactic now is one where Christians pray for those trapped in such life styles, share of our Lord when and where we can, and have confidence that God can fix it through the God the Holy Spirit's calling to each individual, one by one by one.

Can't ban anyone into turning about, have to have love for all that are trapped in depravities and debaucheries of many kinds.  Do we continue to protect kids? Yes of course!

Yes, I agree we need to love our neighbor, no matter who they are.   I treat everyone the same.

I just hate that the gay agenda, now the transgender stuff, is being pushed down society's throats in order to brainwash people.

Maybe I feel more strongly about this since a good church I attended for a long time was led astray into the gay agenda.   That came about by a new pastor who started to push it in the church.   He later came out as gay, after divorcing his wife...and he married a man.

So I saw the progression of what happened....he led many people astray in that church.   He was originally hired to minister to the Hispanics in our neighborhood.   He and his wife and the kids had been missionaries in Mexico.

Never could understand his sermons...now I know why.

Hi,

As I stated; "do we continue to protect kids yes of course."

It is pretty common experience for those that reach up to the high responsibility of pastoring to also face some of the highest challenges, and some do succumb to them too. When that happens it becomes a severe trail for the congregation, do they scatter as sheep without a shepherd or do they banded together  ever stronger in the reliance on the faith of Jesus? Do they pray for the pastor that falls away and his family?

Life is full of harsh tribulations and trials. It is also flled with opportunity to face those tribulations and gain from them. Gain in strength of faith, in trust  and reliance on the faith of Jesus. To know that God is sovereign and works all things together  for good for those that believe on Jesus as Lord God and personal savior.

Secondly  to use the "are you better off today?"  argument in the face of a stock market that is crossing DOW 41,000 and at a time when savings accounts are  earning 3 to 5% pretty much requires a, "Yes I sure am better off today than I was four years ago!" answer, as far as the physical body is concerned.

As to the spiritual  awareness and need, that is a yes as well, for  it is ever more necessary to face the evils that  underlie this unsaved world where Christians sojourn but are not a part. Facing the evils that are so openly  before us all  can be that which also builds up spiritual muscle, as well as profound thankfulness to God that He has turned one's self away from the world's failings and to Him.

Paise God for the challenges that  do work to furtherance of sanctification.

I had the misfortune of sitting under a pastor that had a gay agenda.  Needless to say my husband and I left that denomination.  We have never been back to an American Baptist Church since.

I despise the LGBTQ agenda.  They said years ago, while I was still serving in the Navy in the let 80's and early 90's that they would be coming after our kids.  Now they got some people's kids through this transgender nightmare and Drag Queen Storytime.

Along with gay rights another issue I am having with different churches are their teaching views on "Replacement Theology". Catholic, Seventh Day Adventist, Methodist, Mormon, Jehovah Witness, Episcopal, Lutheran, some Presbyterian, United Church of Christ are teaching their congregations that Israel is no longer the chosen nation of God.  I don't see how they can wipe out the scripture verses when God said "forever" he would hold to his promises and covenant.  I cannot go along with that ever. If my pastor ever taught that I would have to leave too.

I had to leave two churches due to crazy, progressive liberal junk.

I only knew what happened to that pastor that later came out as gay because he wrote everyone a really long letter about it!!!

After marrying the man, he went into education (administration).   Now he's an Episopal priest.

What did Jesus have to do? What did Paul have to do? What did Lot have to do?

What did I learn my whole church did,  when I returned to the area to find it gone! 20 acres of church empty, some 3000 fellow Christian's gone, scattered, when the church shepherd overseer pastor was arrested for,( as he put it on a newspaper interview regarding his arrest),"getting his jollies" with ladies on the streets  in the next city. He said he is still in good standing with God for once saved always saved.

What I learned is that if one is following a man they will be severely disappointed eventually. The "goal"  and the life lesson is to be placing Jesus above all, that and praying for one another in (Agape) love just as each of us loves our Lord.

Progressive ideology and 'sexual liberation' is poison.  It destroys churches from inside out.  @Nieghbor , Your post is a case in point.

The United Methodist denomination is dying because of progressivism.  Christians are leaving it in droves.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
