You would seem to want to be a victim before giving anyone the benefit of the doubt about asking a question.  I don't have any problem with syncretic symbolism, although the process itself always needs an explanation because the religious symbols chosen are always dissimilar beliefs.  These religions disagree, but there is a commonality between them. I can appreciate the new symbol as an attempt to represent the unity or commonalities between the two faiths, despite their being distinct beliefs that don't agree. 

I was remembering what I think was your previous post some time back when you strongly objected to the avatar. I believe it was you; if not I apologize for  my errant memory.

At  any rate thanks for  your comment about it as that gave  me opportunity to share from  Zola Levitt Ministries the story of the symbol. The continuous reveal of our Lord, not competing at all  but instead fulfilling of the promises of God from Genesis  through Revelation.

"Grafted In"symbol brings the unity of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation as the reveal of Jesus my Lord God and  personal savior to my mind each day, as I wear it on a chain; again, one that I have extra appreciation for as Baht Rivka Whitten, my favorite vocalist worship singer, so kindly selected it for me when I asked of her to help in my section while  spouse and I  were attending  a talk by George Whitten.

That night was also quite special to me in that I also met and became aware of the ministry of a Rabbi (Steve Weiler)  within a Messianic conge=regation. I had not know of it nor him until then. Since then I have visited by  internet many times, all to my personal benefit. God is awesome, all things do seem to work together for good for those that believe on Jesus as their Lord God and personal savior.

To attend Shoresh David's worship services and the talk by George Whitten  and to hear and see Baht Rivka Whitten sing worship was quite the treat for this one time independent chosen and frozen Baptist turned old hippie Calvary Chapel attendee, one with stops over the many years now at Church Of Christ, Covenant Church ( America's  church of Sweden), Masters Seminary affiliated churches. I had never seen nor been part of the very interesting and enjoyable worship that was my experience there.

God is so very cool, for allowing such in learning  and  in worship of Him all in the name of Jesus as revealed by the agency of God the Holy Spirit. It always excites me to think through the sojourn so many of us get sent on by God. Your post  helped me in that this morning- very cool way to start this day.
