Ezekiel 35:1-5 Look toward all the lands of the Edomites and pronounce judgement upon them. The Lord says: I shall stretch out My hand to strike your land, I will reduce it to a desolate waste and your towns will be ruined. Then you will know that I am the Lord, for you have kept up an ancient feud and shed the blood of the Israelites by warfare, during the time of their punishment. [by exile]

Ezekiel 35:6-9 Therefore as I live, says the Lord: I shall make blood your destiny, since you do not hate killing and death, that will come upon you. Your land and cities will become desolate wastes forever and no one will travel there. I will cover the hills and valleys with the dead, your towns will not be inhabited. Isaiah 17:1        

Ezekiel 35:10-14 You say: the two nations and two countries [The ten tribes of Israel and the two tribes of Judah] will be our possession, even though the Lord has been there. Therefore your anger and jealousy will be repaid, for I will do to the whole of Edom what you have done in your hatred for My people. I shall be known among you - for the way I judge you, you will know that the Lord has punished you. [by the means of a CME sunstrike, Isaiah 30:26-30] I have heard all your blasphemous talk about the Land of Israel, saying: the Land is ours to occupy. You have boasted and spoken against Me without restraint.  So, now I will destroy you., while the whole world rejoices, As you rejoiced at the inheritance of the House of Israel, when it was desolated, so I will do to you, all your lands will be devastated.   Hosea 4:1-3                               Reference: REB, NIV, KJV. The Edomites can be identified as those nations and entities - that hate My [faithful Christian] peoples and have kept up their ancient feud with Israel, those peoples who currently occupy virtually all of the Holy Land area and who now threaten the Jewish State of Israel with annihilation.  Psalms 83:13-15, describes how the Lord’s Day of wrath will deal to them, as they commence their attack. Isaiah 30:26, Psalms 7:12-16, Isaiah 8:9-10, Obadiah 1:15, Micah 4:11-12 

Psalms 83:12 informs us that the goal of this alliance is total possession of all the holy Land. This is exactly as the Charters of Hamas and Fatah state; they are not interested in a two State solution, all the Jews must either leave or be killed. THEY love killing and death. Ezekiel 35:6

NOTE: that the State of Israel  is mainly populated with peoples who are Edomite’s by descent or by action and many Prophesies tell of their virtual  demise, as the entire Middle East is cleared and cleansed.  Zephaniah 1:14-18

 

Many people believe that the next prophesied event in our world will be the Gog/ Magog invasion. Others say it’s the tribulation – preceded by a rapture of the church. Some think the Return of Jesus will be next. That it will be none of these is told to us in the Book of the prophet Ezekiel, chapters 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 & 39 they all speak about the Israelites, who are now all of God’s faithful people; being gathered out of the nations and settled into all of the Holy Land.

Those chapters are written in a fairly obvious sequence of events. Ezekiel 34:12-13 ‘I will rescue My sheep [people] from where they were scattered in the Day of cloud and darkness, I will lead them out of the nations and bring them home to their own country’. Amos 5:18, Isaiah 13:9-10

Then comes Ezekiel 35, where it is explained how this gathering and resettlement can take place.

This attack by the peoples surrounding Israel will result in their destruction, but the Bible prophecies also say that Judah too, will be judged at this time and ‘only a holy remnant will survive’. The Land will not be polluted by radiation and as the sunstrike the Lord will use quickly passes, the vegetation soon regenerates. Psalms 68:9, Ezekiel 36:8 You, Land of Israel, grow your trees and bear fruit, for the homecoming of My people is near.

This opens the way for all the faithful Christian peoples to emigrate to their heritage.

Later will come the invasion by Gog/Magog – a different list of peoples and nations. They attack the peoples ‘gathered from the nations and living in a land recently recovered from ruin’. Ezekiel 38:8 The total wipe out of Gog and his horde, is ‘to show Myself Holy and make Myself known to many peoples’. Joel 2:20, Ezekiel 38:23-26

The rest of the prophecies will then unfold – the rise of the Anti Christ, the Tribulation and then, the culmination of the age: the Return of Jesus for His 1000 year reign.   Then – the final Judgment and Eternity.

When God punished mankind in Noah’s time, He then promised to never again use a flood, or kill practically all humans, however evil they may be. Genesis 8:21 

 Now, Peter tells us that the earth is ‘reserved for burning, the Day of judgement when the godless will be destroyed. On that Day the sky will disappear with a great noise and heat and flames will burn the earth with its works’. 2 Peter 3:7 & 10 So, this won’t destroy everything, many will survive – it will quickly pass and the world will recover.

Isaiah 30:25b-28 On the Day of massacre, when fortresses fall, the sun will shine seven times stronger, like seven days in one. The Lord comes from afar, His anger blazing and His doom heavy as a devouring fire. He sieves the nations for destruction.  Isaiah 33:10-12

Malachi 4:1 The Day comes, burning like a furnace, all the Lord’s enemies will become as stubble, set ablaze.

Isaiah 28:2 God has a mighty and strong force, it will beat down violently upon the earth, as a sweeping storm and a destroying tempest.

Matthew 3:12 His winnowing fork in His hand, ready to clear His threshing floor. He will gather the good grain into the store, but the chaff, He will burn and destroy.

Psalm 18:7-15 The earth shook and quaked, shaking because of the Lord’s anger. He came down from heaven with devouring fire, glowing coals and searing heat. Thick cloud covered Him, as He thundered from above and hurled lightning bolts far and wide.

Psalm 83:13-15 Scatter Your enemies, Lord, like chaff in the wind, as fire rages through a forest, pursue and terrify them with Your storm winds.

Isaiah 13:9-13 The Day of the Lord is coming, a cruel Day of wrath and fierce anger to reduce the earth to desolation and to destroy all the wicked there. Humans will become scarce and the earth shaken to its foundations at the wrath of the Lord on that Day of His blazing anger.

Isaiah 66:15-16 The Lord is coming in fire, like a whirlwind with the flaming fire of His rebuke. He will judge with fire, testing all mankind and many will be slain by Him.

Ezekiel 20:47 & Ezekiel 21:4 I am about to kindle a fire in Israel, it will kill the righteous and wicked alike, My sword of slaughter is against everyone from the Negev, northward.

Ezekiel 30:1-5 & 16 Wail: Alas for the Day of the Lord in near, A Day of darkness and gloom for the nations. Death will come upon Egypt, all the Arab peoples will fall on the day I set Egypt on fire.

From these prophecies, we can see that this is not the final judgement, or the Great Day of the Sovereign Lord; the Return of Jesus, but is the punishment of the nations.

Note this: Hebrews 10:12-13 Christ will not [physically] Return until His enemies are made His footstool.  Psalms 110:1

Isaiah 46:8-10 Remember this and abandon hope, consider it well you rebels: Remember all that happened long ago – for I am God and there is none other. From the beginning I reveal the end, from ancient times what is yet to be.  I say: My purpose stands, I shall accomplish all that I plan.

Isaiah 46:12-13 Listen to Me, you stubborn of heart, for whom victory is far off; I will bring My victory near and My deliverance will not be delayed. In Zion, I will grant deliverance for Israel, My glory.

Isaiah 47:1-5 Come down and sit in the dust, you virgin daughter of Babylon. Never again will you be called beautiful, your shame will be exposed. I shall take vengeance and show clemency to none, says the Holy One of Israel, the Redeemer of His people. Daughter of the ungodly, go into darkness and sit in silence for never again will you be able to lord it over the nations.

Isaiah 47:11-15 Persist in your idol worship and all the sorceries that you have relied upon, maybe they will yet help you? But disaster will come to you, suddenly and unforeseen and you will be unable to conjure it away. So much for your wise people, those who foretell prosperity and safety, they will become as stubble when the fire burns them up.  ‘from ancient times, I reveal what is to be’, We can know  God’s Plans from the prophets. Amos 3:7, Revelation 1:1, Isaiah 45:19  Also what happened to Israel in the past, symbolizes what will happen in the future.  1 Corinthians 10:11

‘In Zion, Israel will receive deliverance’, The Lord’s people, those who love Him and follow His laws, will live in the holy Land. Psalm 15:1-5, Isaiah 62:1-5 But first the Land must be cleared and cleansed, as the unrighteous cannot remain there. Ezekiel 20:46-48, Jer. 31:1-6

‘daughter of Babylon – lord over the nations’, In these end times, this may refer to the USA, the worlds richest and most powerful  nation.  Isaiah 18:1-7, Jeremiah 50:22-25, Jeremiah 51:6-10, Zechariah 2:6-7

‘I shall take vengeance and show clemency to none’, The whole world will be judged and those who refuse to acknowledge the Lord will be punished. Hebrews 10:26-27, Deuteronomy 32:39-42, 1 Peter 4:17

‘a sudden and unforeseen disaster of a devastating fire’, A coronal mass ejection of unprecedented magnitude will strike the earth, literally fulfilling all the many prophecies about the forthcoming terrible Day of the Lords vengeance and wrath.  Isaiah 30:26, Malachi 4:1, Jeremiah 4:23-26

The Iranian mullahs either have or will very soon have nuclear weapons. This reality is horrifying in the context of the Iranian leadership’s fantasy of annihilating Israel. 

The inspiration for this comes from their god, who is none other than Satan.

This vision involves the Islamic Shi-ite belief in the return of the Hidden 12^thImam, who is the awaited Mahdi of the Muslims. He is one of two eschatological figures in Islamic theology, the other being Jesus.

Al Mahdi means “the rightly guided one” and is portrayed as coming before the end times to make the entire world Muslim. Muhammad said that the Mahdi “will fill the earth with justice as it is now filled with oppression”.

This hidden Imam is, according to Islamic tradition, due to re-appear after a period in which the Muslims suffer great persecution and calamity.  It is within the realm of possibility that the Iranian leadership is thinking that they can hasten the coming of the Imam Mahdi by bringing about an increase of what they would regard as oppression of the Muslims – ”oppression” that would in reality be Israel’s defensive response to an Iranian attack. The Shi-ite Muslims especially, believe that for as long as the Mahdi remains hidden, the world will stay apostate. They are fixated on the end times and are on the constant lookout for signs of his return. This obsession shapes their life, culture and politics and as can be seen by their speeches, their approach to world affairs. 

Now, in 2025, the Iranian leadership is desperate; their currency is worthless and the citizenry are in revolt. They see their only chance to retain control, is to have a victory over Israel and America. They WILL attempt it; they have to! 

 Bible Prophecy says what will happen:. Ezekiel 7:14 …all are ready for war, but no one goes to the battle, for My wrath is upon all of them.

Over 100 Prophesies describe this terrible Day the Lord will arise and destroy His enemies. It will be triggered by Iran attempting to fire nuke missiles at Israel, with the result as Psalms 7:12-16 and Jeremiah 49:35-37, describe.

Proverbs 1:20-27 Wisdom cries aloud in the open places, in the streets, she says: How long will you fools be content with your simplicity? If only you would respond to my reproof, I would fill you with My spirit and make My precepts known to you. But because you refuse My call, reject My advice and will have none of My admonition, then, I in turn will laugh at your doom and deride you, when terror comes like a hurricane and your doom approaches like a whirlwind and anguish and distress come upon you.

Proverbs 10:24-30 What the wicked dread will overtake them, what the righteous desire will be granted. When the whirlwind sweeps past, the wicked will be gone, but the righteous will be established forever. The fear of the Lord gives a person length of days, but the years of the godless are cut short. The Lord is a refuge for the blameless, but He brings destruction onto the evildoers.

            The righteous will never be shaken, the wicked will not remain in the Land.

Proverbs 12:12-13 The strongholds of the wicked crumble like clay, they are caught by their own offensive talk and actions. The righteous come safely through the troubles ahead.

Proverbs 16:2-6 A person’s ways may seem right to him, but the Lord weighs up his motives. Commit to the Lord all that you do and your plans will be successful. The Lord works out everything for His own ends, so He has made the wicked for a Day of disaster. One and all, the proud are an abomination to the Lord, be sure of this: they will not go unpunished.

   Through love and faithfulness, sin is atoned for, through the fear of the Lord:  a person avoids evil.

Proverbs 8:4-21 It is to you that I call, to all mankind I appeal. You who are uninstructed: gain knowledge, you who are complacent and imprudent – gain understanding.

Listen, for I shall speak clearly, I say nothing but the truth, all that I say is right. It is straightforward to those with understanding, it is plain to those with knowledge. Choose My instruction rather that silver, My knowledge is better than pure gold. To fear the Lord is to hate evil, to hate pride, arrogance, cruelty, subversive talk and sinful actions. I am Wisdom, from Me comes sound advice and knowledge I love those who love Me and those who search for Me will find Me. In My hands are wealth and prosperity, I shall fill the treasuries of those who love Me.

Proverbs 8:22-31 The Lord appointed Me from the beginning, long ago before all else was made. When He set the heavens in place, gave the seas their boundaries and fixed the earth’s foundations, then I was by His side rejoicing in His presence. It seems obvious that the Wisdom described in Proverbs, is Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:15 Christ is the image of the invisible God, for by Him everything was created.  

His instructions are as given to us by His prophets and personally in the New Testament. We are told in many passages to ‘fear the Lord’, that is: hate evil, pride, arrogance, cruelty, subversive talk and sinful actions. Not really impossible for us, is it?

Listen, you distant peoples:

Isaiah 8:5-8 The Lord says: Because this nation [Judah] has rejected the gentle water of Shiloh, [Isaiah 5:24: the Laws and Covenant of God] then I will bring against them a flood. They will sweep through Judah and conquer the whole Land.                          This was fulfilled by the Babylonian and the Roman captivities.  Isaiah 5:13, 2 Kings 17:18-20. But Ezekiel 21:14 says there will be: 3 swings of the Sword against Judah.

Isaiah 8:9-10 Take note, you nations, you too will be shattered. Listen you distant peoples of the earth, prepare yourselves , devise your plans, but they will not be carried out, for the Lord is with us.   Micah 4:11-12

Isaiah 8:11-15 The Lord told me not to follow the ways of this people, not to agree to any alliance or treaty that they agree to or to fear what they fear. Isaiah 28:14-15        The Lord is the One that you must regard with fear and awe, He is the One you must hold sacred.

But for the House of Israel and the House of Judah, He will be as a stone that causes people to trip and for the people of Jerusalem, He will be as a trap, that makes many fall and suffer.   Zechariah 12:3

Isaiah 8:16 Bind up the message, seal the instruction, so that it cannot be consulted by My disciples. 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Isaiah 29:11 

Isaiah 8:17-18 I shall wait eagerly for the Lord, who is hiding His face from all Israel, I shall put my trust in Him. Here we are: all children of our Lord – we are the signs and symbols of Israel, sent by the Lord, who dwells on Mt Zion.

Isaiah 8:19-22 Others will suggest that you consult mediums and spiritualists, who whisper and mutter, but why ask the dead for instruction, when what they say brings no light?  So despondency and fear will come over those people, in their futile search for the truth, they will rebel against their rulers and their gods. Wherever they look, all is gloom and darkness and there will be no escape for them.        Hosea 4:12, Jeremiah 29:8-9, Isaiah 66:17 

Isaiah 33:13-16 You dwellers afar off, hear what I have done, acknowledge My might, you that are near at hand. The godless sinners in Zion will quake with terror, with trembling they ask: Can any of us live with a devouring fire, in perpetual flames?

        The people who behave uprightly and speak the truth, who scorn to enrich themselves by extortion or bribery. Those who keep their ears and eyes from evil, it is these people who will dwell in safety, with their food assured and water never failing them.

Listen you distant peoples, the plans and preparations of the ungodly peoples, to occupy all of the Holy Land and wipe Israel off the map, will not prevail.  Psalms 83:1-18

Here we are: all children of the Lord;  Romans 9:24-26. Faithful Christian believers are now the Israelites of God, individuals from every tribe, race, nation and language are the Lords holy people. Galatians 3:26-29, Romans 9:6-8, Revelation 5:9-1

it is these people who will dwell in safety and prosperity:  Soon after the Lord’s Day of fiery wrath, that will clear and cleanse all the holy Land, the call will go out to all the people who stood firm in their faith, Zechariah 10:8-12, to gather and live there, Hosea 2:14-23, Jeremiah 31:8-9, as God always intended His Israelite, now: the Christian peoples to be His witnesses and a light to the nations. Isaiah 43:10. Isaiah 49:8

It is no wonder that the Christian Church cannot sort out or properly understand prophecy. The Lord actually does not want most people to know His plans, however the prophetic Word has been given to us Christians for a reason and for those who genuinely apply themselves, putting aside all preconceived notions and false teaching; then it is possible to discern God’s Plans for our future. Daniel 12:4-10,  Hosea 12:10, 2 Peter 1:19

As it was in the Days of Noah:

1 Thessalonians 5:3-5 You friends, are not in the dark, that Day will not come upon you like a thief. You are children of the Light, of the day. We do not belong to night and darkness. But while they are saying: all is peaceful, all secure; then destruction is upon them, suddenly as the pangs that come upon a woman in childbirth and there will be no escape.

‘You My friends’ -  Those who love Him and keep His commands.

John 15:14-15 You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is about, I call you friends because I have disclosed to you everything that I heard from the Father.

‘that Day’-  Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1-2a at the commencement of His ministry. He stopped at ‘and   a Day of vengeance of our God’. That therefore, must be the next prophesied event.

 It is wrong to think ‘that Day’ is the Return of Jesus in His glory, for these main reasons;

1/  The situation will hardly be: ‘all is peaceful’, at the end of the Tribulation and with the Anti Christ’s army coming to attack Jerusalem!

2/ The Return will not come ‘as a thief’, that is unexpectedly, because as anyone with a Bible can read that after the AC places his image in the Temple, it will be 1260 days, then the Return.

 3/ As described to us in many prophecies, the Day of wrath is a worldwide event, on all nations:

Zephaniah 1:7 Keep silent in the presence of the Lord, for the Day of the Lord is near, the Lord has prepared a sacrifice and set apart those His has invited.

Isaiah 13:9 The Day of the Lord is coming, that cruel Day of wrath and fierce anger, to reduce the earth to a desolation and to destroy the wicked there.

Malachi 4:1 The Day comes, burning like a furnace, all the proud evildoers will be as stubble, that Day will set them ablaze leaving them neither root nor branch.

Revelation 6:17 For the great Day of their wrath has come and who can stand?

‘like a thief’-  That is, unexpectedly to all the godless peoples and to those who have ignored or failed to understand the prophetic warnings.

Revelation 3:3 If you do not wake up, you will not know the moment of My coming.

Revelation 16:15 See: I am coming unexpectedly. Happy is the one who stays awake and ready.

Isaiah 46:10 From the beginning I reveal the end, from ancient times what is yet to be.

‘children of the light’-

1 Thess. 5:8 We who belong in the light, must keep prepared and armed with salvation.

Isaiah 42:6 I have formed and destined you to be a light to the nations.....

‘they say; all is peaceful, all secure’-  The enemy nations prepare a surprise attack on Israel.

Micah 4:12 They do not understand God’s purposes, they are gathered like sheaves on the threshing floor.

Matthew 24:37-44 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be when the Son of Man comes*. Then they ate, drank and married right up to the day Noah went into the ark. They knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes. Be ready, therefore, lest He comes when you are unprepared.

* He sends His fiery wrath – Psalms 11:4-6  The Lord sent the Flood, this time He will use fire, Malachi 4:1 & 3

‘suddenly destruction is upon them’-  This is the Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, prophesied over 100 times in the Bible and accurately described as a CME sunstrike. Isaiah 30:26

Isaiah 47:8-11 Listen to this, you lovers of luxury, living carefree and thinking you will never be in mourning. Suddenly, in a single Day disaster will come upon you.

Jeremiah 25:32-33 The Lord says: Ruin spreads from nation to nation. A mighty tempest blows up and those whom the Lord has slain on that Day will lie scattered all over the world.

‘there will be no escape’-Everyone will be affected, this Day will come upon everyone. Luke 21:35

Romans 2:3 Do you imagine that you can escape the judgement of God?

Isaiah 2:19 They will creep into caves to hide when the Lord strikes the world with terror.

Revelation 6:16-17 They called out: Hide us from the wrath of God and the Lamb’.

THE LORDS WRATH – how will it happen?
This much prophesied, still to come, Lords Day of vengeance and wrath – will happen at the same time as an attack against Israel. Psalms 7:12-16, Psalms 83, Micah 4:11-12   People think there may be a nuclear exchange, but what is more certain is what the prophets say:
Jeremiah 50:25 The Lord opens His armoury and brings forth the weapons of His wrath, for this is His work to be done in the lands of the godless peoples. Deuteronomy 32:34-43
Isaiah 34:5 For My sword appears in heaven, it descends in judgement…….
Psalm 11:4-6 The Lord is in heaven, raining fiery coals onto the wicked. ……
Isaiah 66:15-16 See, the Lord is coming in fire, like a whirlwind. He will judge with fire, His sword will test mankind and many will be slain by Him.
Isaiah 33:10-12 Now I shall arise, says the Lord, I will exalt Myself. You will be as chaff and stubble, a wind like fire will consume you. Whole nations will be heaps of white ash, like thorns cut down and set on fire.
Psalm 144:5-6 Lord, part the heavens. Make lightning flashes far and wide.
Isaiah 30:30 Then the Lord will make His voice heard in majesty...descending in fierce anger with devouring flames of fire amid storms and hail.
Jeremiah 30:23-24 See what a scorching wind has gone out from God, a sweeping whirlwind which whirls around the heads of the wicked. The Lords fierce anger is not to be turned aside until He has fully accomplished His purposes.    In Days to come you will understand.
Isaiah 29:5-6 Yet, the horde of Your enemies will crumble into dust, fly away like chaff. Suddenly in an instant punishment will come from the Lord, with storms, thunder, earthquakes and great noise and a flame of devouring fire. 2 Peter 3:7
Isaiah 9:19 The land is scorched by the Lord, the people are like fuel for the fire.
Isaiah 10:17 The Light of Israel will become a fire, its Holy One a flame, which, in one day will burn up and consume His thorns and briars.
Isaiah 30:26-30 On the Day that the Lord saves His people, the sun will shine with seven times its usual brightness and the moon will be as bright as the sun……
See; the Lord comes from afar, His anger blazing and His doom heavy. His lips are charged with wrath and His tongue is a devouring fire. His breath is like a torrent in spate. He sieves out the nations for destruction. Isaiah 63:1-6

What these (and many other) prophecies, seem to be describing is sunspot activity.
Maybe the sun is building up to a huge Coronal Mass Ejection, something we do experience with minor CME’s. They happen very suddenly and unexpectedly, reaching earth within hours and are capable of causing enormous damage and deaths worldwide.
All electrical and communications systems, industry, transport; our modern infrastructure  could be destroyed, or at least severely damaged. Armies would be back to 1800’s technology.

A CME explosion of the suns surface, as described in Isaiah 30:26, with the sun flashing 7 times brighter, would be one of unprecedented magnitude and would literally cause all the graphically Prophesied effects. For example; the moon would shine bright red as it reflects this suns explosive flash, plus a thermoluminescent reaction between the metallic oxides of the moon with the superheated Hydrogen mass and our satellites would crash to the earth, like ripe figs falling.
