Idenity of the 4th Horse

The scripture:Rev.6:8

There have always been people dieing by sword, pestilence, disease, etc. This information was taken from and article in the Economist, in 1999, and The Sequence of Endtime Events, by Irvin Baxter Jr. Here is some information I read concerning death in the 20th century.

"The twentieth century was the bloodiest century in the history of all mankind. The most people that had ever been killed in a war up to that time was one million. World War 1, however, took 8 million lives by 1917. 52 million people perished in WWII in the 1940's. It is estimated that 60 million have been killed in political purges since the Communist took over China in 1949. Joself Stalin in credited with about 50 million deaths in his political purges.

These figures however, are dwarfed by the 1.18 billion babies killed between 1975 and 1999 by abortions. The total number of infliced deaths during the 20th century was 1.38 billion. This does not include deaths by famines, plague, and wild animals.

World population in 1999 was 6 billion. The 1.38 billion who were brutally killed during the 20th century represents about 1/4 of humanity. Not coincidentally the prophecy of the pale horse states that he would have power over the forth of the earth, to kill."

I would like to start a discussion on the 4th horse and how you think this prophesy has been or will be fufilled.

Sadly enough MK202002, your figures may be too low. The numbers are just mind blowing. There are reports that Mao killed in excess of 100,000,000. The Japanese Empire wiped out close to 50,000,000? No one really knows how many Hitler and Stalin killed. The Rwandan Genocide is just now coming to light.

It is possible that the Pale Horse is on the loose. What comes next?

There are 4 colors. the first is white, the second red, the third black, and the forth and last is pale. The signifigance of the last horse is that it's rider is called death, and he his givin power to kill one forth of all mankind.

I think the one/forth refers to the ones who will be killed, not the ones who will kill. The colors are interesting though, I will have to look at the flags. thanks
