It is easier to cool down a fanatic than revive a corpse!

I too expect God to confirm His word with signs and wonders like He did for David DuPlessis (Mr. Pentecost), Smith Wigglesworth, Reinhard Bonnke, Peter Youngren, etc.

Acts 4:29-31 "...enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus. After they prayed...they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly."

Ps. 68:28 "Summon your power, O God; show us your strength, O God, as you have done before."

Greetings in Christ! Glad your in agreement with me on this, but I do have one question...what does your opening remarks mean there...was kind fo confusing to me...Blessings...

I was generically agreeing that we should be bananas for Jesus, a fanatic. It was not a personal reference to you. People criticize passionate people, so I am suggesting to them that if we are overboard or extreme, it is easier to bring us back to earth and back in line; it is harder to stir up judgmental, dead, religious church members (dead corpse, the worse of the two 'evils').

I believe it is not a problem for God to literally raise a dead corspe, by the way.

We should also not be kooky and superspiritual in our faith. It is counterproductive to be a weird, looney fanatic who misrepresents God and His Word.

So, what exactly would be God's point in creating this secretive hidden picture? What exactly is he trying to say in your opinion? Why would he do things this way instead of his usual methods of sending messages through angels, prophets, dreams, visions, etc.? What is so significant about a hidden and disguised picture that nobody even knew about until after 9/11? Are you trying to say that God is the head of Al Queda or something? Maybe I'm stupid....but I just don't get it!

Greetings in Christ! Is God trying to say something...like 9/11 is all about money...maybe...I could see that...why did was it figured out after 9/11...not sure...God times things his way...do I put as much stock in it as Gods Word...never...does God speak in all kinds of ways...yes...He can use anything in creation to do that...would like the exact chapter and verse that says he only speaks through a limited source of his creation. Anyway..this is my last post...when I notice threads going south...concerning my posts...I know that people have not real interest in what I got to say...and would rather pick and get a laugh at my expense instead of digging into the Word to prove me wrong...I should gather if this keeps up my stay here will be short...The Kingdom of God would be so much better if people took God out of the man made theological box...HE IS GOD...GOD PEOPLE...he is LIMITLESS...why do you put restrictions and limits on the LORD OF ALL CREATION...if he could toss the stars out with the fling of his hand....and you could except that....why not accept that God could leave a note in a 20 dollar bill to teach us not to trust in money but in God? I know God must operate through his Word...it did not say mans doctrines...but I would not doubt this to be my last post...I have begun to see a pattern here...some are decent and do not mind debate....others just want to pick...or be rude....how does one cancel membership anyway? I think coming here was a BIG mistake...

You are cool and have valid contributions. I think it would be more mature to stay and work through friendly disagreements without taking it personally. I will apologize if I have slandered you instead of dealing with your opinions. Diversity within unity, rather than uniformity is the nature of the Church. We need you and you need us. Let us learn to share more positively and constructively, but let us also learn to receive correction or comments.

If we are way out of line and do not respond appropriately, then we should be kicked off. It is learning to respect godly authority. If our feathers are ruffled, try to work through it.

Thank you for staying. None of us are perfect, but I think our motives are sincere.

ACTS.4.vss.29--30-----And ,now,LORD,behold their threatenings;and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,BY stretching forth thine hand to heal;and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child JESUS.

Greetings in Christ Jesus! I don't really post a whole lot, but I follow a lot of the threads that are started...been just kinda sitting back and observing.....and I wasn't going to post on this thread, but last night....after I saw the responses to my husbands (Blood Stained Soul) posts, the Lord began dealing with me on some stuff concerning this board, well really the people that post on this board....

First of all, most of you forget that you have no idea who's on the other side of the computer screen. It could be some 70 year old person, who's been saved 50 years....reading their Bible and praying and living the Holy life we are called to live....and preaching the Word for 40 years. I would think they would have a lot to contribute to boards like this. But you know what? On THIS board, newbies aren't all that welcome. You automatically assume that we're out to tear this board down and impose some kind of wacked out doctrine on you all. That may very well have happened lately to you all, but that doesn't mean that all new people are like that. As Christians, we are supposed to be SLOW to speak and QUICK to listen.....I don't see that happening here. And I know...it can be hard on a forum to do that, but instead of quickly tearing down a post, you could ask questions on what they really mean. I understand that you all are a really tight-knit group....that's great....most of you hold the same beliefs too....that's wonderful.....I even notice that you "accept" some older newbies on this board with no problem....

When a new person comes to post on this board, you don't know who they are or what they believe in.....yet you tear them to shreds on every single post. It hasn't been just my husband and I either, so don't think I'm just talking about us. Christian love?! I'm sorry, but I don't really see it....except among the ones that have been here for a LONG time. That's sad. Instead of tearing down your fellow Brothers and Sisters, you should be building them up....it shouldn't matter how many posts they have.

I've noticed that you can't post on here about certain things....such as:

**Christians should surround themselves with Christian things (Christian music, Christian books, etc)

It's a good topic....one that many Christians here obviously disagree with. You can reach the lost of this world and you don't have to use their stuff to do it. We are to be different than the lost....using their stuff is saying we're the same. That's what the different genres of CHristian music are for. I don't care for them all, but they are useful in reaching the lost. Secular stuff to a Christian should be trash....yes, we hear it all the time, everywhere we go....doesn't mean we have to enjoy it and actually partake of it.

**Anything about the JW's...even if it is to learn how they beliefs are different so you can better witness

According to many, this topic is unwanted on this board really. They're unreachable....they don't listen. I'm sure glad that no one thought that about me when first presenting me with the Gospel....cuz I sure didn't listen....and I'd be willing to say many of you didn't at first either. You were too happy in your sin....but you know what, they persisted and you finally listened. What's the difference?

**Defending yourself and your family without actually killing someone.

It is possible. As for Christians supporting the death penalty: that person committed a crime, yes....must have been pretty bad to get the death penalty, I agree....but you know what? If they are put to death in their sin, they are going to go to hell. Why should a Christian be in support of a lost soul going to hell? The Lord knows that some will, but He doesn't WANT any to perish, but to have eternal life with Him. I don't think it's right for a Christian to harden their hearts toward these lost. To God sin is sin....period. What if He had decided that YOU were unreachable and gave up on you and supported your death?

**Anything about God moving in an unconventional way

This is really where He was speaking to me last night....and I have some things to share with you all. Do you think in the day of Noah, the people had ever seen God move by making it rain 40 straight days and nights? No...but He did. How about in the day of Elijah....do you think the people ever saw fire consume rock before? No...but God made it happen. Was anyone ever raised from the dead before our Lord did it? No...but He did it. We believe all this because it is in the Bible and God is not a man that He should lie, nor the Son of man that He should repent. But the people back then didn't have the whole Bible. You know the ones that actually saw all of this believed immediately that God moved....times then were probably like times now, word spread fast....what about the ones that didn't see it with their own eyes? Did they believe when they heard? I would have to say they did. Why? Because of the MULTITUDES that followed Jesus Christ after HEARING of the wonders He did, that's why.

You have as much of God in your lives as you want. God always wants to do so much more in your lives than you even allow Him. Most have Him stuffed in this little tiny box...."Oh God, you can't move in this way....you can't do that"....when are you going to break Him out of that box and let Him move as He wants to? When are you going to quit limiting the Lord?

On the $20 thing: Like I have said, I have seen it with my own eyes done. I don't know what website you're all talking about....but I didn't see it off a website. There is no apparition. It's about folding the money a certain way and telling the "story" along with it. When all is said and done, the $20 looks like an airplane and you can see the Twin Towers on one side of it. It was shown to a group of about 13 people, by a Holy Ghost filled Brother. Half of the group was Holy Ghost filled also....I'm telling you, the Spirit moved on that thing, bore witness that it be true, and spoke to us all. Why was it discovered AFTER the fact? I believe the Lord was just showing that He knew it was going to happen, that He allowed it to happen, that He tried to warn us, but we didn't listen. Was it about money? Very well could be, but no one knows for sure.

It's funny that when a Christian Brother or Sister, who's a new poster, has so obviously broken the Lord Jesus Christ out of that tiny box most Christians like to have Him in, that person is shunned and torn down. Yet Wiccans are embraced and called friends....not torn down.....not even witnessed to. Something isn't right there...

That's all that the Lord spoke to me about. A sharp rebuke to you all? Harsh? Probably some of it....but I just write it as the Lord leads me to. Hopefully it will be a wake up call to you usual posters. I just pray that you actually receive it and ask the Lord to point out to each one of you what you can do to make things better here.

Blessings...

Greetings, Sister:

I had to respond to this particular part of your post because it's simply not true.

I have witnessed the love of God to Teh Wiccan on the board and privately PMd and emailed with him.

Sometimes people haven't read all the posts and certainly don't know of the private efforts made by some to reach those who are lost.

It is never wrong to call someone, "Friend" but brother/sister is reserved to those who are true Family in Christ.

In the spirit of kindness and friendship, we can reach even the most vile sinner, by the grace of God.

Blessings to you

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
