I now what is the issue here..Yes it is horrific.. and these people are only a small portion of the Christians that are being persecuted.. I like the Missionary Network News site...It seems to cover just about everywhere there is a struggle for Christians and of course the VOM is a good source for Christain news.. and it just tells you the news..... I was put off by the first page as it looked like an anti war campaign.. The sheehan syndrom if you will.. Maybe I DO watch too much news.. anyhow..I think You are right Leonard..it is a battle against Christians and that is the reason it is being passed over.. It does get mentioned occasionaly but certainly no real coverage.. I often wonder how Christian world news became seperate from all the other news... It really has to be topic that will sell with viewers or they do not air it.. Hummmmmm...

There have been a couple of documentaries also, I've watched them, even though they have sickened me. I do not understand how people can do these things to each other, and cannot comprehend doing it to children. My heart exactly.

In Uganda, there is one outfit that's adopted a religious name; something like the "Lord's Resistance Army" or some such; and they are basically just a horribly, horribly violent cult group, wiping out whole villages in the bush, and stealing the children, just as DaniJ87 says....... I read about this a few years ago in a mainstream newspaper. Ive also read about the Lost Boys of Sudan, and the atrocities in Tibet and Nepal. No one seems to care much about them.
