I think it was Paul in the Bible that said it is better if a man does not marry and devote his life to serving Christ instead.

But if a man can't suppress his sexual desires, it is better that he marry than live with sin.

So that is why I think it is blasphemy to say that Jesus was married.

I saw the movie,DaVinci code, and up until the last 30 minutes,Tom Hanks character was denying ALL the heresy theories.

The last 30 minutes ruined the movie for me.

Tom Hanks ends up kneeling at the tomb of Mary Magdeline.

Bad Tom,bad Tom.

I'd comment more but I'm working on a screen play of the life of mohammed.

How he made up a religion by stealing beliefs of other religions and incorporating them into islam.

How he raped and murdered innocents for the wealth and to satisfy his lust for money and power.

How he was a pedophile and took his 9 year old bride to the wedding bed with her dolls in hand.

I expect to be in the witness protection program in a few weeks.

I happen to believe Catholicism is wrong, but I also believe the Baptists are too. Big deal if Gibson is a Catholic. I want one scene from the movie which is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. You said there are things in there that are not in Scripture, now cough it up.

One of the actors played in porn films; I think it was the gal who portrayed Mary Magdalene. Of course, having a role in the Passion also put her in contact with believers; not to mention allowed her to see the Passion played out before her eyes. Sounds like a blessing from God.

There were a few scenes in the movie that were not Biblical (they were not anti-Biblical either). for instance, while "Jesus" carries the cross, a girl runs up and tries to give Him a drink of water. She wipes His face with her veil and comes away with His image on the cloth.

Also, it is not noted in Scripture that Jesus falls while carrying the cross, nor does it state that He meets His mother on the way to Calvary (although it is almost certain she walked along with Him as she is at the cross).

I think that's what Faithie is referring to.

btw...Anne Catherine Emmerich was an Augustinian nun who was a stigmatic. She experienced visions from a very young age. She was NOT into the occult. She was "into" Jesus.

I agree that we don't agree with the content of the movie but how will the general public see the movie? Is it written well? Is the acting good? Can we assume it will go to the Oscars because it's done well? (And because it's anti-Christian?)

Amen Rania! Anthing pro-choice, anti-christian, left wing, etc.... will most likely get a nomination at the Oscars. I admire the fact that you were not intimidated to make that statement. Kudos to you.
