It is interesting that you brought this up.

In the tuesday edition of the Chicago Sun-times in the business section there is a pretty big article that headlines

"Scent to bed campaign has some turning up noses"

The marketers of fcuk French connection United Kingdom" are marketing two types of this fragrence "Fcuk Him" and "Fcuk Her"

it is marketing in ads in "Maxim and teen people" amongst others.

They are hoping to get the attention of teens already jaded by the heavy dose of sexually oriented messages in music videos and video games. The approach has already been effective with its apparel lines.

they are offering with the purchase --T-shirts reading "scent to bed"

Invitations were sent for a New York launch party in the shape of a hotel door knob hanger which reads "Fcuk in progress"

A planned holiday promotion calls for stores to issue " Licence to fcuk" cards which includes a code to enter at www.scenttobed.com for a chance to win a trip to club med and a list of "best pickup lines"

there are more than just target and marshall fields that are selling this there is bloomingdales, may department stores, macy's. etc

I think that all should be boycotted and anything french made for that matter.

Abrief not on Wal-Mart. If you check their recent history, they refused to sell certain toys (I believe one was a wrestler action figure) because of their violent characteristics, they stopped selling certain clothing line, and they stopped selling boarderline filth magazines such as Maxim, FHM, Stuff, etc. - at least they have at my local Wal-Mart. At my local Wal-Mart there is a huge section in their books dedicated to Christian books and Bibles! Now where have you seen a Bible being sold in Target?

Besides, Wal-Mart is cheaper on most items, and the super Wal-Marts carry groceries, garden tools, plants, etc.

You know just when you think you have seen and heard it all. I am so disgusted right now I can hardly see straight.

Thank you Suzanne for giving us that link. I have already joined up and sent the e-mail they provided. I plan on doing more than just that. I just got my Target credit card payed off and have been hanging on to it in case I needed it. Well those people at Target will get a letter from me to cancel that card immediately!!!!

I am a mother of a pre-teen and it is a daily battle to keep the world from invading every aspect of her life. I sometimes feel we are drowning in a sea of filth. How could the days of Noah possibly be worse than the day we are living in?

All I can do is bow my head and say please come soon Lord Jesus, please come soon.

Just saw your post on Wal-Mart God-Man. I couldn't agree more. We just got our new Super Wal-Mart here in town. It also have a huge Christian book section. Its also where I buy my daughters clothes. They are cheaper and we can find things that are fairly decent. Target and K-Mart were very hard. Not everyone wants to wear short shorts and tight little T-shirts with words like " Boy Toy" of "Sexy" printed on them.

Plus they are way cheaper on groceries and everything else. GO WAL-MART!!!!!!!!

Amen sister,

I know someone who had a disagreement with acredit card company and cut his card in numerous pieces and sent it to the creditor along with his cancelation.

I dont know if I would recommend this method today, with the identity theft and all.

Speaking of identity theft. Walmart is the big gun ushering in the RFID chips in all thier merchandise. They are demanding that thier top 100suppliers to deliver RFID tagged products by Jan 1, 2005

To learn more of the RFID go to www.nocards.org

this could be what anti-Christ uses to control our future buying and selling.

let me know your thoughts

I'm also a member of the one million moms and was completely appauled by what I read when they e-mailed me. I do not shop at Target because we don't have one near us, but I will never spend a dime at one in the future. K-Mart is not much better, though. I've just recently boycotted K-Mart for their music and magazines which they refuse to take out of their stores.

For any dads out there who are not aware of this, you can sign up to be a member of one million dads. It's the same thing, just dads and not moms. They do a lot of good things to try to promote family and get rid of the filth that haunts our tv's, radio's, stores and the like. I just recently joined and have been pleased so far with how they work for the sake of families.

If any of you are interested, you can check out the different websites by clicking on the links below to see what you can do. You don't have to be a mom or dad, either. They have one for youth as well. It's all about promoting family values. A very good cause!

If you look, check out the story about the Marriott Hotel. Talk about disturbing!

One Million Dads

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
