I haven't been to church since April 30th. I doubt I will go back Sunday because my back is killing me. I do not want to go back the following Wednesday because I don't want all the excitement of me coming back, it always ahppens and I do not like that. I do not feel accepted by the girls in my youth group, never really have at all. I moved and went to this church in 8th grade, I'm going into the 11th and don't have 1 strong friendship there. They have all known each other since pre-k so they all have their cliques, well I of course just showed up a few years ago. I love my church and its people to death, don't get me wrong, I just don't feel accepted in the youth group, at all. It's slowly killing me, and I do not trust anyone, so I have no one to confide in, and I really need that. I live for friendships and now that school is out for the summer I don't have that. It would help if I trusted just 1 person in the youth group, but I don't. Now that I haven't been to church I have nothing to live for. :)

First of all, you have to stop worrying. "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known utno God." - Phillipians 4:6. "Be careful for nothing" means don't worry. We all have worries on the job, in our homes, at school, but Paul's advice is to turn your worries into prayers. Worry less! Pray more! Whenever you start to worry, stop and pray.

When we go to church, we do not go to be with our friends or to feel accepted, we go to worship our Lord Jesus Christ, do not lose your reason for going to church.

How can you say that now that you don't go to church you have nothing to live for!!! We live because of what Jesus Christ did for us.

Dear cutie pie,

Our reason for living is our Living GOd Who made us and loves us and can bring us into relationship with HIm and an abundant life and future eternal in HIm and with HIm in the Family Of GOd. Jesus is JOY for you and LIFE!

Please look to JESUS , not people, not imperfect man, we have all been hurt ot even hurt someone. But that is not God , that is only man imperfect as we are.

Seek GOd and let HIm lead you to the church where you will have the friendships with other believers who are trustfull. TRUST JESUS< IF YOU CANT TRUST JESUS WHO CAN YOU TRUST... Ask Jesus to help you to trust HIm too. Go to church for God and to learn about the Lord and grow.. The friendships will come. Can't let your focus off Christ to the kids or whatever or you will play into the devils game of discouragement to live!

Keep your eyes on Christ!

FIrst of all trust GOd and lean not to your understanding nor make your relationship conditional with God over other people.

They are not God, never turn for the one who loves you and can help you!

Praying for you. :noidea:

I can understand where you are coming from by feeling like the odd one out - I've been that my entire life. I was always shy, so that never helped, and people would often just ridicule me rather than accept me.

But it doesn't matter what some humans think! All that matters is what God thinks, and we must let Him shape us, and not others. Don't let these people define who you are by their non-acceptance - you don't need it. Accept them, and accept God, and good things will come to you.

I will be your friend . Even if we can't hang out, it's still fun to talk online.

Unfortunately, it isn't always that easy.

I have been in a similar position at you, except I was at college and everyone had their little cliques and, for whatever reason, I wasn't in any of them. I'm not really sure what advice to give you except don't run away from it, like I did. The course I was doing I absolutely loved but I couldn't take the whole not fitting in thing so I walked out. I regret that so much.

Have you tried sitting down with one of the groups and seeing how much you have in common?? Burst into one of these cliques and give it a go.

I totally understand where you're coming from.

Maybe you could try talking to one of them by themselves (if you ever get the opportunity) and take it from there??

Fellowship does not have to be with people your own age. You are practically an adult. I'm sure if you wanted to sit in on the adult sunday school and get closer with some of the older women you would feel better. Remember to keep your focus, sometimes we go through times when we are alone. We need to learn to lean on Christ during those times and not worry so much about the social things. If you don't feel comfortable with the youth group, why not instead try to serve your church, maybe help in the nursery or sing in the choir or get in ont he visitation team or something. You would still have fellowship but not necessarily with those girls/guys.

And don't forget to worship when at church rather than worry about who likes you. That isn't the reason to go.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
