Does healing belong to us?

The question that many Christians have today is, does healing belong to us as it did to the early church? There are 3 basic beliefs on the subject of healing in the modern Christian church.

1. Many believe healing has been done away with, that it was only for the early church and not for us today. This is probably the most wide spread belief.

2. Many believe God does heal as He sees fit, or by some special divine act, or some special faith.

3. The last basic group believes healing belongs to us as part of the atonement of Christ in the redemptive plan of God, along with the remission of sins.

These are the 3 main attitudes toward healing in the body of Christ today. The question becomes if the 3rd is right, how could the 2nd be right as well? Many Christians have received divine healing or know someone who did, if this is true, why is not healing a part of the completed work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Does God play favorites? Does He heal based on His whim? Or is He truly no respecter of Persons as His Word says He is? Is He truly the same yesterday today and forever?

Lets take a look at the Word of God for the answers to these questions!

Psalms 103:1. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:

3. Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

4. Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5. Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6. The Lord executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.

Even in the Old Testament we see that His benefits include both forgiveness and healing.

Has God changed in His attitude toward healing the sick?

Malachi 3:6. "For I am the Lord, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.

Healing is in this world today, and is availible as it was in the early church....... both the second and the third are true, God heals as He sees fit, and thru extraordinary faith and divine action, there have been many times this has been documented, one in peticular, there was a highway patrolman from Oklahoma, that while out horseback riding with friends, one of the friends fell and he jumped of his horse to try and protect his friend, and was kicked in the head, was thrown quite a distance, and when the ambulance got there, his head was only about half the size it use to be due to being crushed.....

it was documented that in surgery, that there were angels guiding the hands of the surgeons while they tryed to put this trooper back together......

they did not give him much of a chance, ( the doctors that is, but it was the nurses out side the room that said he was going to make it.... ) he did make it, and having had his brains out side the skull, no brain damage.... he is fully recovered save a bit of eye sight.....

i have personnally seen people healed of illness on the spot and also healed / cured of illnesses with in an hour after having been prayed for..... seen people that were flat lined, and not expected to last the night, not only make it thru the night, but come back into this world with just a spoken word from some one....

there are documented cases of people being brought back to life after being dead for hours or even days.... some even after the body fluids have left the body, and the stench of death is upon the place....

the song goes if we are the body, why arn't His arms reaching..... why arn't his hand healing......

I believe we have too many distractions, we are not putting first what is first..... we have our priorities all messed up, we have lack of faith......

The Gifts of the Spirit are still in operation this day, even this evening.... even now.....

we have placed other things above and before God...

how many healings have i personally seen? more then i care to count....... for God is the one that gets the Glory, not me for seeing them, not the person doing the Lords work........

if we are content on sitting on a pew, and keeping it warm, getting upset when some one else sits in that spot, then you will not be involved in the healings... you will be content knowing you have your assigned seat all safe and sound.....

GET UP!!!!!!!!!! JUMP FOR JOY, DANCE BEFORE THE LORD, PRAISE HIS GLORIOUS NAME, TALK TO THE LORD GOD, SING TO OUR FATHER GOD.... BELIEVE IN HIM AND BELIEVE THAT EVERY THING THAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE EARLY CHURCH, IS GOING ON TODAY, AND THE WORD AND WORKS OF GOD ARE STILL VALID THIS DAY......

The main reason for the lack of genuine signs from God is the lack of the pure word being preached.

Lu 1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,

2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word . . .

• Mr 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
  
  Ac 5:2 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
  
  Ac 14:3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
  Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
  4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

there are plenty of signs,

and the signs we are seeing is those that have been spoken of many times, in many churches, and the people are blind to them....

folks, the signs of these times, the signs are coming thru, pointing to the end time....... remember thou, that these signs are not pointing to the return of the Lord Jesus, Christ, these signs do not point to the day or the our that the Father has the trumpet sounded, and the Son brings in the flock......

every thing that needs to happen before the rapture has already happened....... so there is no time left to become right with God......

too many churches are preaching the make me feel good preaching.... too many churches are veering away from the truth...... and too many churches are so far away from the truth, that they can no long see the truth......

a while back, i was doing a short research on the Bible...

and found that a man was trying to have a Bible that was not corrupt.... the Bible that was being used was so full of corruption ( the latin bible ) that the leaders, the clergy of the church were out to get this man, he was trying to tell every one that the bible he was translating was full of errors, and in fact, it was flawless...... the clergy of the church, were afraid that if the truth was known about the payment for sins that the church would start hurting financuallly.....they were buring this version of the Bible as fast as it could be printed....

there were several people that were doing this wonderful deed, getting the word out so that all could read the wonderful Plans of God...... and during this time, the Latin Bible readers ( the clergy and leaders of the church ) were out hunting these people down, and putting them to death, and burning the bibles they had....

it was not until bloody mary was no longer queen, that an english printed bible was availble and not condemned.

but it was only availible to the church, and was secured to the pulpit, people could read it as they would, that is why it was secured to the pulpit, so that it would not walk away....

then came King James the first, and he authorized only one bible, ( yes, you can say that the KJV is the authorized bible, for it is the only one that King James Authorized, ( King James was only a man thou, so, who authorized the Latin, and the corrupted latin bible? and who authorized the greek and the hebrew and and and..)

now we have a fairly accurate Bible ( being it was from copies from copies from copies, and translated several times. and being that people have at least one copy of it, we still tend to rely on the word of mouth from other men...... we are too lazy to read the word ourselves, we are listening to corrupted make me feel good teachings instead of reading the word for our selves.....

Do You Want To See Miricles?

then you need to be on your knees before the Lord, repenting of your sins, turning away from the flesh, turning away from the things of this world, and turning to the Lord God Almighty..... seeking His wonderful Glorious face, seeking His Will for you......

those that are constantly struggling..... those that are just on the verge of a break thru, or a break down..... quit hanging on to the things of this world, let go of the faithless, and with faith drop every thing you have at the foot of the cross, and with faith, speak to the Lord God and have Him cleanse you, have the Lord wash away all your sins, let go of them, forget them, do not pick them back up.....GET RID OF YOUR SINS ONCE AND FOR ALL....

Jesus is the answer, if you have a question, Jesus is the answer.....

not budda, John Paul Jones, the pope, the bishops, the pastors or even the neighbor that is a total Bible thumper, Jesus is the answe, JESUS IS THE TRUTH, THE LIGHT, AND THE WAY.......... JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO THE LORD GOD, OUR FATHER......

the time for the return of the Lord Jesus, is soon,

do not worry about tomorrow, do not worry about yesterday, concentrate on the Lord the Here and Now, for tomorrow never comes, and yesterday never was, all you have is NOW......

get your hearts right with the Lord, for the time can be at any second.

not much i could add to what you all have said.

EXCEPT THIS....... Durint the time before i was saved i almost destroyed my liver from drinking.....

one night at ameeting a man by the name of Bobby Means. who i had never seen before and i was late to the meeting . so i he had never seen me at before he said this ... after he finished speaking he walked throught the audience and gave words of knowledge.. he looked at me ans said THE LORD IS HEALING YOUR LIVER RIGHT NOW..... ..... PRAISE YE THE LORD.

NOW ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO ON CHRISTIMAN EVE SATAN ATTACKED ME WITH DIABETES MY BLOOD SUGAR WAS 790 WHEN THEY TOOK ME TO THE HOSPITAL ..140 should be top normal.... I TOOK THE MEDICINE FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS AND MY BLOOD SUGAR BEGIN TO DROP AND DROP LOWER AND LOWER.... BY CHRISTMAS OF THAT YEAR I COMPLETELY QUIT THE MEDICINE AND MY BLOOD SUGAR REMAINS NORMAL AND I EAT WHAT I WANT......

I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT THE HEALINGS I HAVE SEEN IN THE LAST 30 YRS. BUT THAT IS ENOUGH .

YES HEALING IS FOR TODAY ..... THE LORD NEVER CHANGES...... NEVER

MAN LIKES TO TAKE CREDIT FOR WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE.
