Hundreds of thousands of raucous parade-goers took to the streets from New York to San Francisco on Sunday for annual gay pride parades, just weeks after an attack on a popular gay singer in New York and the 25th anniversary of the start of the AIDS epidemic.

If idiots could fly,

"homosexual pride" parades would indeed be airports!

http://narth.org

Treu, but it is more than only idiot, it is an afwull sin:

Leviticus 20:13

It's disgusting for men to have sex with one another, and those who do will be put to death, just as they deserve.

And if they pretend they believe, only in an other way:

Proverbs 28:9

9 God cannot stand the prayers

of anyone who disobeys

his Law.

So:

Ezekiel 18:31,32

31 Give up your evil ways and start thinking pure thoughts. And be faithful to me! Do you really want to be put to death for your sins?

32 the Lord God, don't want to see that happen to anyone. So stop sinning and live!

1 day with God, is better that 1000000 days without Him, But, how can we tell that to the Homosexuals?

In leviticus I believe it also says those who work on work on the Sabbath should be put to death. My neighbor wants to work this saturday, should I really get the whole town to stone him to death? Or can I burn him at the stake?

The New Testament also condemns homosexuality.

And you guys call yourselves Christians? Hmm. Not one of you sounds very Christian to me. You are so full of hate and venom towards these poor souls that are heading for hell unless somebody tells them of Jesus' love for them. If Christians only took a step back and look at what they are doing. Who in their right mind would give up homosexuality to be a part of the most hateful & judgmental group of people on the planet.

I am an ex-gay man now for 11 years. And it was not the hate & gay bashing that led me to Christ. Quite the contrary. It took the love of a Pastor who knew I was gay and boldly confronted me to my face. He then tried to help me. He worked with me for over 2 years. It was only his love and his showing me the love of Christ that I am not still living the homosexual lifestyle. He truly loved me, met with me several times a week, allowed me ot call him day or night if I needed to. It was all pure sacrificial love that showed me the truth. NEVER did he judge me, no not once. He always greeted me with a hug, he wasn't Afraid of catching the "Gay Bug"

They are real men that have real needs and they need a Saviour just like any other sinner. And I don't see one scripture in all the bible that says Jesus paid the price for ALL sin except homosexuality.

You're not going to win gays to Christ with those dispicable attitudes of yours. Sometimes, I am ashamed to be a Christian and think about going back into the lifestyle, where there is love and acceptance for who you are. And no one passes judgement on you, no one tells you to go to hell with pleasure in their voices.

I am reminded of a few scriptures which I'm not going to take the time to look up because I am totally angry with this thread. One of the versus says something like this: Let him who has no sin cast the first stone. Another: All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. Another: TAke the plank out of your own eye before you worry about your brother who has a speck in his eye. Another: Judge not, lest you be judged. And on and on and on.

Oh, and one more comment. One of these posts says something to the effect that death and going to hell is what gays deserve. Did you ever stop and think what you deserve? Jesus paid the price in full, if He did not, there is not a one of us that deserves heaven, there is not a one of us who deserves salvation, there is not a one of us who Jesus did not suffer and die for. Not a one of us deserves salvation nor the love of Christ, but while we were yet still in our sin, He went to the cross and paid the price for us.

It's folks like you that make me embarrassed & ashamed to call myself a Christian.

I would agree with you to some degree when it comes to people simply caught up in the homosexual lifestyle, but not in regard to activists. These people are not like the average sinner who is ashamed of his wrong doing. They are "proud" of their sin. I don't see drunkards, adulterers, thieves, porno addicts, liars, etc. not only guilty of sin, but proud of their sins to such a degree they march in the streets to celebrate it. When it comes to homosexual activists, I take back nothing I said. If you are talking about people who are simply caught up in this sin and ashamed, I wasn't refering to them in the first place.

What are your thoughts on Mardi Gras? Every conceivable sin is flaunted in that celebration. Girls lift up their shirts to show off their breasts. Men pull down their pants to show what they have. People walk around drunk & with more alcohol in their hands, etc, etc., etc....

I guess you've never seen the St Patricks day parade.

M,

I know what you're saying and think we need to look at sin in general and not which sin is worse or more disgusting.

I know a gay man that if I went up to him and told him that his lifestyle was an abomination to God, he would never talk to me or listen to what I had to say again.

Instead, I gave him a "rainbow"colored bracelet that read "Jesus Loves Me" . (gays have claimed the rainbow as their solidarity colors, I don't think God had that in mind when He made the covenant)

He got all teary eyed and gave me a hug.

One step at a time, plant the seed, I say.

Dear Giaour;

I don't know who "M" is, but I'm going to respond...hope you don't mind...

This is great & very nice of you. Just keep him in your prayers. And when the opportunity arises, invite him to speak to you about ANYTHING and you will pray about it for him. You could go out for an icecream or a coffee, etc. He may open up, or he may not. But the majority of gays have multiple problems and when somebody shows they care, they can win the man over. Gays have already been condemned by society & Christianity, themselves & their family & friends etc., and to show him you don't condemn him will mean the world to him. Make friends, BUT, keep your stance!! Don't waiver or fall into the trap that "God made me this way". LOve him, but don't enable him.

More often than not, a gay man finds it easier to open up to a female than a male. They are not intimidated by the female gender and feel they can relate better to a female over a male. {not always true, just from experience}

I am not a counselor or anything, I just come to you as an experienced ex-gay man. If there's anything I can help you with, please do not hesitate to ask me.

CHristians need to learn about the facts of homosexuality before they decide to condemn them. And as with all sin, love the sinner but hate the sin.

And if you are dead serious about helping this gay man, or any other gay men. I would suggest getting a book or two and read up on homosexuality. There are plenty of good books, but I will recommend one "Homosexual No More" By William Consiglio. It is out of print, but can be purchased through Regeneration Books @

https://regenbooks.com/default.asp

Maybe after you read it, you could offer it to your friend to read. The man who wrote the book, Homosexual No More, lives in CT. He counseled me for a couple of years. Because he was so far away, we would meet once or twice a month for two hour sessions instead of one. He is a licensed doctor and can prescribe medication. He is very good and has a burden on his heart to have a ministry geared toward the homosexual.

You're a rare jewel. Thank you so much!

in Him;

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
