Yod, I'm fairly new to this forum but as many times as I've seen you call people names and unfairly accuse them I think you must feel very "uncomfortable" with your position on things. The truth seems to make you squirm. It says in the Bible that satan is always "accusing" us before God. You seem to always be "accusing" those of us on this forum who disagree with you. You try to twist our words or add to or take away. It doesn't work. It only reveals your insecurity.

[edited to add] Have you ever thought about converting to Judaism? Going by your words, and attitude toward other Christians, you seem to be more into the Jewish thang than the Christian thang.

Which explains the absurd statements that follow in the rest of your post.

It is interesting how those who are anit-Semites hate being referenced as such. I have heard several anit-Semites both Christian and non Christian speak of their hatred of Israel and the Jewish people but claim that they are not anti-Semitic. Jessse Jackson calls New York City "Hymie Town." He believes that Israel should be dismantled and the Jews should be dispersed. He has however, admantly denied that he is anti-Semitc. I have run into Christians all the time, who hate Israel, but cannot understand why hating Israel could be considered anti-Semitic. It shows just how irrational this hatred of Israel has become. Israel is accused of being "racist" which is completely unfounded. The only people who are considered racist for wanting a country of their own is the Jews. No other group would ever be accused of such a thing. It is not "racist" for the Palestinians to want their own country.

As usual you miss the point entirely Shiloh. You should take off those Rose colored glasses when you look at Israel.

Now, don't get me wrong here. I agree with, "salvation is of the Jews."

While I do not believe all Jews in Israel are racists, I know the Israeli government with their American built tanks, helecopters, and missles show little reguard or compassion for the women and children of the Palistianian people. Just do the research.

But to respond to the non-racist Jews. Let us look at what just some of the many like minded remarks made by Jews themselves are. All of the following statements are made by Jews, none by me. So call these Jews antiSemetic or otherwise, not me.

As far as your bad teaching comment is concerned, I agree with that. But to say that Christians were their worst persecuters of Jews is not only false and misleading, but shows a lack of real understanding of the scriptures and history as well. It has been the Jews that were the worst persecuters of the Christian faith. That is both evedent in the New Testament as well as the writtings of the early (1st century) church leaders. I sudgest you read the New Testament a little closer, and possibly Justins first Apoplogy.

the only people that the jews persecuted were other jews whom they believed (wrongly) were traitors to their faith.

Where in the Bible did a gentile ever get persecuted by the jews for believing in Jesus?

Even so, that ended by the year 100 AD. The persecution that John speaks of in the Book of Revelation is from the Romans...Nero.

If you think that christians have not been the worst persecutors of jews then you simply don't know history. I suggest "Our Hands Are Stained With Blood" by Dr. Michael Brown. It is an easy read and it will break your heart as it did mine. You'll understand why I'm so passionate about this particular issue.

So much wrong has been done to the jews in the name of Christ....and the underlying premise is so subtle. I'm sure that you and Charlie and Idolsmasher are sincere about what you believe....and I'm also sure that you are sincerely misinformed.

A real Christian would never persecute anyone no matter who they are, or how badly they hate the true Christian faith. Just because someone calls themself a Christian, that doesn't accually mean they are one.

I used to think the same way...but the truth is that christians are still sinners. Martin Luther's writings laid the groundwork for the Third Reich to expel jews from Germany. Was he not a christian?

As George pointed out that you are not a Jew, I would say that you might consider converting

I already have. I'm a converted sinner.

Now I'm following biblical judaism....also known as christianity in some circles.

Would you even consider that you have been robbed of you heritage?

There are many more quotes that can be quoted in the same vain by Jews, but I will let it rest at this.

Good. I won't start quoting Charlie Manson then....

Let's break this down to the most basic level of communication. What is your definition of;

1. Zionism

2. Jew

3. Israel

4. Terrorist

5. Security

6. Human rights

7. Palestinian

8. Democracy

9. Dictator

10. Equality

If you can give me the most basic definition of those terms, I'll show you why I think you are on the wrong side of this debate......the world's side.

.

No I do not miss the point Idosmasher. You are the one who misses the point. You say that nothing we have said about Arafat and his thugs could be found anywhere execpt in statements made by us "racist" Zionists. So, I started going and finding quoatations made by Arafat from Palestinians sources. Strangly you refused to respond to those posts. I started going to non-zionist websites and posting Arafat's own words in the Israeli Palestinian conflict threads. I posted my references as well. Anyone can go to those places and find what I found.

So really YOU miss the point. I have found what you said could not be found. I proved that the Palestinians really do not want peace, and want the terrorism to continue even IF Israel conceded 100% to their demands. I proved that it is the desctruction of Israel that they want and not peace. You are so misinformed on the issue, that a true debate with you is impossible. You have no grasp on what is really going on at all. The Palestinians, in their own words continue to make a fool out of you. Or course, every posting you make defending Arafat makes a fool out of you as well.

The problem with this remark is that it completely ignores 55 years of terrorism and wars imposed upon the Jewish people. It is as if that part of history just never happened. Frankly, it is incorrect when one does the research. More to the point, nothing Israel has done up to this point, would have ever been done had it not been for the violence committed against the country. How is it that terrorists can sneak into Jewish homes and kill little babies and elderly in their beds and that is completely ignored. However if one of the security guards in a Jewish neighborhood kills such terrorists, he is racist? That is how this is colored.

The Palestinians every day call for Israel's destruction. Everyday they plan and carry out terrorist attacks aimed at the most vulnerable parts of Israeli society. Yet we hear not a peep from people like you. Yet let Jew raise a finger in self defense, and OH NO!!!!! Those terrible Jews!!!!!! how dare they !!!!!???? Jews are the only people who are condemned because they prefer not to be terrorized. The nations of the world are allowed to fight terrorism in any way they feel necessary including usage 15,000 lb. daisy cutters.

Israel however who has killed far less civilians in its war on terrorism, is the one who is supposed to show restraint.

People like you hold Israel to a double standard. Frankly, the more you post the garbage I read from you, it shows what you are. The other quotes are some I have read before, and as usual are used out of context.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
