i have had this on my mind since yesterday, so i will present it to you.

as christians we recognize and value the power of prayer and i dont know one soul lost or saved who doesnt need it.

would you be interested in doing a 30 day prayer for someone here on this board? for thirthy straight days lift this person up to the lord .

and when u choose that person, send them a private message and find out what their needs are that you may pray for this person and his or her needs.

now how would we know if more thanone was praying for us?

well if each person chose someone and sent them a message they could tell that person if someone already had chosen them, and they could choose someone else to pray for.....

if someone has an eaiser way to do this ,please let me know ok? :o

that is if you all are agreeable to this.

and if u are maybe we should let this thread run for a week so that everyone will see this and no one will be left out ..

and why thirty days?

Jam 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much

if all are agreeable we can begin to choose who we will pray for , in this next week and find out their needs....and begin the 30 day prayer next friday,

is everyone agreeable to this?

God bless each of you , your sister in Christ, dare

I'm always up for prayer, no matter where I am. :o

So, how do we do this? Just pick someone and let 'em know? I have a daily list already, so it should be someone not on my list.

I'd like to go ahead and choose to pray for Teh...but we can pray for more than one person, too...can't we?

I'm also praying for Lisha...because she's really struggling...

Dare...some people probably need multiple prayer intercessors...I know Teh does because this sweet boy got caught up in Wicca but he's very, very warm toward Christians and responsive...

Lisha is hurting and loney and needing a "family"...and we're it. She's pretty sensitive and really going through hard times right now. She's only 14.

Teh,...not sure but he's in high school, I think. So, he's no more than 17.

Hiroko is Japanese...she's 20 and I see her on Chat sometimes ...she's a saint who's been ostracized by her Buddhist family because she asked Jesus to come into her heart. Her parents put her on the streets for bowing to Jesus Christ.

She was beaten in the Buddhist temple and forced to bow down to the idols in the temple, but prayed to Jesus to save her while she was forced to bow to idols by her parents. Her faith is so strong...! This young girl is standing firm for Jesus!

This is what I've been saying...we so desperately need to intercede for these young people...they are crying out for mature believers to pray for them, encourage them...and guide them.

I've been going to the Prayer Closet every night at 9 eastern time...and I'm usually all alone, typing my prayers on the 'puter. Then the Lord sends somebody to pray with me...

I don't mind praying alone but if anyone wants to join me in prayer for these precious children...please do.

My heart......is for the children. That's the annointing God has given me.

I like praying for 30 days...but I'd like to have a few names on that list which are high priority...(those who are in crisis).

Traveler: You, sister...have been my inspiration...I have always affectionately called you our "in-house" intercessor. Well, I have asked the Lord to annoint me to be an intercessor and help me to be filled with loving compassion that I might pray for those in need....but you were my inspiration.

I have so many wonderful sisters and brothers on the boards...Sagz...wow, what a Spirit filled brother! Wow! Sagz, on fire for Jesus!!!

Bless you all....

Evangelist - since this was your idea, would it be too much for you to police the matches? What I mean is that when I was in a group where we would have secret encouragers, someone specific was in charge of matching people up.

Would that work? We could submit to you a name we wanted to pray for to you and you could make sure everyone got a name? Or we could just PM you that we were interested, and you could be in charge (under the Spirit's leading, of course!) of placing people together.

Would that work?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
