And while you're there whipping yourself, why don't give yourself a couple of extra whacks for that "chief" comment.

In case you didn't catch it, the "chief" comment was a response to being called "sport" by the other poster. Obviously in your zeal to bash me you either did not see that or chose to ignore it. At any rate, you are awfully bold for someone who has judged Christ's church to not be up your standards and unworthy of your participation.

I wasn't asking you to critique my journey to heaven. I will get there by the Grace of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am getting to the point that saying anything here on WB isn't worth doing. You guys come out fighting without knowing who it is you are speaking to.

For the record, my name is Patricia. I am a 60yr old widowed Vietnam Era Veteran Grandmother. I was baptized in 1992 by immersion. After that my life started to change. I went to Israel on a love mission for 2 weeks.

My life really started to change again. Over the years I have experienced and learned alot. I desire to live a holy life. I want to follow the narrow pathway. Is it easy, "No" God didn't tell us it would be. Infact just the opposite. Praying in Jesus name does produce answers.

I believe we are in the last days. Why? Well you can read it right here in all the different topics, especially the answers. Christians criticising other Christians. I am guilty of doing it myself. Father please forgive me for this sin, in Jesus name. Amen

It seems that everyone seems to know the right way to walk the narrow path. :) I think we should be "thankful" for any person who desires to go this way. The Bible is full of verses that can show a person the direction to His pathway.

There was a book written by Charles Sheldon. It was about a minister who challenged his congregation to "Follow In His Foot Steps." His being Jesus Christ. As the people did things in a Christ manner they started to learn things they didn't know before. They found peace and joy. They also found that the former friends weren't really friends at all, because these folks decided not to associate with the people of the congregation. "Following in His Footsteps" is a book that all should read.

Snow, I promise you I read your original post several times before I responded to it. Based on what it said I thought it was very self-righteous, indicating that you thought you needed to isolate yourself from others who might taint you with their sin. I really tried to read it some other way but I thought your words were pretty clear. Adding to the perception you also tried to tie it all together with a King James only comment. While my comments may have appeared harsh, I took no satisfaction in saying them. I know it can get ugly on here. I have made unnecessary snipes and have received them from others as well. All I can say is I kept that in mind before I responded the way I did. It was my sincere opinion based on what you said and my understanding of what you were inviting us to respond to. I still don't think I agree with what you believe the narrow path verse is saying but that's another thread I guess.

A bitter pill is one way of saying it I guess. :)

Assocating with people who take the name of Our Lord in vain. Who do ungodly things, is not the company I want to keep. I don't want to assocaite with these people because I might start to follow their ideas rather then sticking with GOD'S Views.

"I took no satisfaction in saying them!" Then why did you express yourself to begin with. Maybe you shoud have given it up to GOD!

Get off the church thing dude. I've asked you many times as to which denomination you would suggest and you never came back with anything that even resembled an answer. Are you ashamed of your denomination? If I did attend church and someone were to ask me that question, I would suggest my denom. You silence regarding this question speaks volumes.

As for the "chief" comment, I see it as a racial slur. You can say what you want but it is what it is.

You got some serious spiritual problems guy.

Smile & Be Joyful 4 GOD Loves U!

I have been studying some Bible verses and I think the pathway to heaven is the narrow way.

I do believe that accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and knowing that He died on a cross for my Salvation (and yours) is the Start of the pathway.

However, I am realizing that there is alot more to do, then only accepting Him. Jesus did help the poor, fed and gave them drink. These are good works then and now, to those who give and recieve.

I am learning that I can no longer associate with folks who don't do as Jesus did/does. I don't do this to begin with.

I must discern just about everything I hear, that doesn't sound like it came from the King James Bible.

I don't know if you know this or not but some Bibles being published today have added and deleted words to them.

Man's traditions are in every church around where I live. So finding a true Bible preaching church is tuff.

Praying is very Important. I would say it is 2nd on the pathway UP. There are people who don't know how to pray, I know I was one of them. I could recite a prayer however to just pray johnny on the spot, I was dud, not good at it.

I am still not that great but I do do it. I didn't give up.

Well I could go on and maube I will later on.

Now you can add your thoughts to this topic. :emot-highfive:

Snow4JC,

Hi!

The pathway to heaven is the narrow way.

There is more to it than just accepting Jesus Christ the way most people today do and following him. See Matt 25:31-46. This is just one example of how people misunderstand what following Jesus is really about.

I agree with you about the different bibles. I only use the KJV. It is the closest to the original and I don

You reject Christ's church and then you claim I have spiritual problems? Also we have gone through this three times in various threads. I made a serious offer to you to discuss in PM possible churches for you. You have rejected all of those offers. As far as "chief" being a racial slur, that's about the funniest thing I have ever seen on here and that covers a bunch.

What an interesting and unique way to play the race card!

No. I have spoken about it often here. But to discuss churches with you in open forum would be counterproductive and degenerate into a fight about whose church is right. Are you always like this when someone is trying to help you?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
