Let me get this straight. You all believe that Iran is completely justified in researching and should be allowed to posess nuclear weapons?

Now, why didn't I think of this before, guess what, why doesn't America just sell half its nuclear stockpile to Iran? That would eliminate our national debt and make us a wealthy country, so that even the poorest amongst us will be a millionaire. Then, we could sell the other half of our nuclear stockpile to the bankrupt country of North Korea. We can accept our counterfeit currency from them as payment and restitution for the 40 years of sanctions the North Koreans had to go through after the Korean War.

Yeah, that'll work and for now on, any country that attacks a country without military provocation, will immediately be given victim status and the world will be ordered to pay restitution for the desperate actions.

Some how butero, I think some people are that stupid. Using that idiotic logic let's do apply it to a warzone. I will use vex as the mediator between the two.

Also, umm, let's see here, yes, American body armor is far superior to the Iranians, so I'm gonna have to ask the americans to remove the body armor from half it's infantry and give it to the iranians. I am well aware that American infantry outnumbers iranian infantry 2-1, so it's ok if the iranians have a higher percentage of soldiers wearing body armor than the americans. Oh, also, Americans are better trained soldiers, so the ones with body armor will have to fight with one arm tied behind their backs and wear only 1 boot, but only on the foot opposite the hand they write with. I believe that American technology is much greater than iran's so the americans will have to fight without smart bombs, night vision, radar and cannot use satellite images to get a picture of the battlefield. Finally, since America has a huge stockpile of nuclear weapons, I see no problem with giving some of those nukes to iran to even things up a bit.

I could go on and on and on, but really, I think most people here get the point and find vex's argument about iran's right to posess nuclear weapons is the dumbest thing we've ever heard.

No, Iran does not have a right to defend itself with nuclear weapons!!!!!! Because, Iran has already stated that they would destroy Israel soon, we can only assume that they will use nuclear weapons as a first strike weapon, then bring their army in to Israel and "mop-up" the charred, poisoned and injured survivors.

None of us here are saying that Iran doesn't have a right to self defense. They can have as many tanks, fighters, bombers, infantry, armor, and conventional weapons they can afford, but they do not need a nuclear weapon. They will misuse it and blackmail the world with it.

If what I said is dumb, you wouldn't have needed to totally misrepresent what I said. I never said anything about giving Iran any weapons.

You deny that Iran has a right to self-defense. Nuclear weapons are the only defense against a powerful aggressor like the US.

We have never had any plans to attack Iran. Iran is prepariing the nukes for Israel, who also never had any plans attack Iran before the Iranian president decided that Israel needs to be wiped off the map. Their motive is not self-defense against anyone, but of wanton destruction. Any attacks that Israel might have planned now are on Iran's nuclear sites, and has no aspirations for the destruction of Iran at all. The only one calling for anyone's destruction is Iran's psychotic President. If Israel and the US were as evil as you would like to portray, we would have taken Iran a long time ago.

You might actually be capbable of intelligent, rational conversation if you weren't so bent on trying overstate things, and make trumped up baseless, empty assertions.

I said that Iran could buy all the armor and weapons they could afford. I don't have a problem with that. I just said they have no need for nuclear weapons to defend themselves. America doesn't want to invade Iran, we want them to give up their nuclear ambitions and stabilize the ME. They want nukes as a first attack weapon not a defensive one. As long as they assume an aggressive posture and continue to call for the eradication of Israel, they are not acting defensively. They are being the aggressors and antagonists.
