Just because in your ignorance you disagree, Doesn't mean it is wrong. One thing about them, they back up what they say by the word.

So far on this post everything has been mans opinion.

They back up what they say by the Word?? Okay, since you see the above list as totally Word-based teaching, provide for me the places where the Bible says that:

1. God much have man's permission to work in this realm;

2. Jesus became "born again" in Hell. Where does the Bible say Jesus was "born again?" Specifically?

3. Jesus' death on the cross was not enough to save us.

4. That it is okay to put curses on people that disagree with you.

I would love for you to show me those 4 word of faith teachings from the Bible, chapter and verse.

Some of these have been misquoted, Others are so clear in the Bible, why dont you look them up.

If you spent more time reading the Bible Instead of critisicing people, you might know the truth.

[1]Jesus teaches faith, Paul teaches faith, Maybe you are a little misinformed about Bible doctrines.

[2]The Greek says, We are humanly divine and divine'ly human.

[3] Maybe these men have a greater revelation then you do, [it appear's that they do]

So you agree that....

God is bound by the law of faith and this means He is obligated to obey the faith-filled commands and desires of believers?

and you agree that humans are "little gods"?

and you are saying that the Bible supports these two things?

I agree with the Bible, unlike you.

Misquoted??? So then why did you give them your tacit approval and declare they were backed up by the Bible??? Really, so which ones are misquotes and which ones are biblical and if they are biblical, why don't you provide the passages??? You won't because you can't. If you know the truth, then enlighten us.

If you really think you have the truth, then questions would not threaten you. The one thing that cults hate are questions and this never more apparent than in the Word of Faith movement.

hr.jr..............................and everything you just said is NOT in the Bible. It is based on a so called new revelation that can only be obtained by super spiritual knowledge that even the early church Fathers did not have.

Where does it say in the Word that Jesus suffered in hell?

Where does it say in the Word that he died spiritually?

Where does it say in the word that he became Born Again?

One thing you have failed to see is that "the Word became flesh and dwelt amoung us" The Word is God and it is not possible to become one with sin and the devil. To say so is blasphemy. These are the dreamers of Job. God said "where were you when I laid the foundations of the Earth?"

God is God and he is in control and we are his children and not "little gods"

In his love,

Brian

I take it that you are joking, Or Very ignorant of the Bible.

you are very good at one line comebacks, why dont you instead show us in the Bible where it says these things.

since you think that the WOF people are wrong, You must know the scripture they quote, So you must know where they are in the Bible. If you dont, Then why are you making judgement on them.

once again you failed to show anything, why not just show us where these are in the Bible if they are so very clear, it should be so very easy for you

You must know what scriptures the WOF quote to think they are wrong, If you dont then you have no right to make a judgement on them.

Then show me, show me in the Bible where it says that God is bound to our command. Show me where in the Bible it says that the creator of the universe and the master of it is under the command of us humans.

And then show me in the Bible where it says that we are "little gods". To me there is only one God and he is a jealous God.

I will be waiting for the verses to back these things up

and if you could let us know who had faith in God while he created the universe, since as you put it "God cannot do anything without people having faith in Him"

You must know what scripture the WOF people quote to think that they are wrong, Otherwise you have no right to judge them.

The LORD Speaks

1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said:

2 "Who is this that darkens my counsel

with words without knowledge?

3 Brace yourself like a man;

I will question you,

and you shall answer me.

4 "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?

Tell me, if you understand.

5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!

Who stretched a measuring line across it?

6 On what were its footings set,

or who laid its cornerstone-

7 while the morning stars sang together

and all the angels shouted for joy?

8 "Who shut up the sea behind doors

when it burst forth from the womb,

9 when I made the clouds its garment

and wrapped it in thick darkness,

10 when I fixed limits for it

and set its doors and bars in place,

11 when I said, 'This far you may come and no farther;

here is where your proud waves halt'?

12 "Have you ever given orders to the morning,

or shown the dawn its place,

13 that it might take the earth by the edges

and shake the wicked out of it?

14 The earth takes shape like clay under a seal;

its features stand out like those of a garment.

15 The wicked are denied their light,

and their upraised arm is broken.

16 "Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea

or walked in the recesses of the deep?

17 Have the gates of death been shown to you?

Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?

18 Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth?

Tell me, if you know all this.

19 "What is the way to the abode of light?

And where does darkness reside?

20 Can you take them to their places?

Do you know the paths to their dwellings?

21 Surely you know, for you were already born!

You have lived so many years!

22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow

or seen the storehouses of the hail,

23 which I reserve for times of trouble,

for days of war and battle?

24 What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed,

or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth?

25 Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain,

and a path for the thunderstorm,

26 to water a land where no man lives,

a desert with no one in it,

27 to satisfy a desolate wasteland

and make it sprout with grass?

28 Does the rain have a father?

Who fathers the drops of dew?

29 From whose womb comes the ice?

Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens

30 when the waters become hard as stone,

when the surface of the deep is frozen?

31 "Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades?

Can you loose the cords of Orion?

32 Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons

or lead out the Bear with its cubs?

33 Do you know the laws of the heavens?

Can you set up God's dominion over the earth?

34 "Can you raise your voice to the clouds

and cover yourself with a flood of water?

35 Do you send the lightning bolts on their way?

Do they report to you, 'Here we are'?

36 Who endowed the heart with wisdom

or gave understanding to the mind?

37 Who has the wisdom to count the clouds?

Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens

38 when the dust becomes hard

and the clods of earth stick together?

39 "Do you hunt the prey for the lioness

and satisfy the hunger of the lions

40 when they crouch in their dens

or lie in wait in a thicket?

41 Who provides food for the raven

when its young cry out to God

and wander about for lack of food?

and some think this same God is at our beck and call?

What arrogance has man wrought?

It is you who said "God is at our beg and call" You have misquoted people,

If you read how many times in the New Testament Jesus say "ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH". I supose you think He is arrogant as well. I supose you think He is in heresy as well.

WHAT IS FAITH?

If one wants to please God one must have faith: "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God MUST BELIEVE that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Heb. 11:6).

This is one sure way to please God. If God can be made happy and well pleased in such a simple way, why should not everyone one who loves Him put forth the utmost effort to have faith in Him? Not one of us would be pleased if our friends would constantly make us a liar every time we opened our mouths to say something. Not one of us would feel like doing anything for those who did this. The same is true with God. We should not insult God by questioning and doubting every promise He makes. How can we expect to get answers to prayers as long as we continue in such an attitude?

Faith is simple. It is believing God without waver, without doubting, and without questioning what He says. It is taking God at His Word and believing that what He has promised He is able to perform it. It is believing not only that He is able, but that He will do it. It is the quality of counting those things that be not as though they were (Rom. 4:17). Faith is also the absolute conviction that what God has promised and what we have asked for according to His Word is already done. It is the substance of things hoped for and the first payment on things that we desire from God (Heb. 11:1-3).

How do we get faith.

The way to get faith is by Hearing the Word of God (Rom. 10:17).

The way to use faith is to take God at His Word and count Him faithful in granting what is asked in the name of Jesus. Ask and then believe that it is done. Thank God for it as if it were already done. Expect the complete answer whether you see it at once or not.

Forget symptoms, feelings, impossibilities,or anything to the contrary and it shall be done regardless of how impossible it may appear outwardly. Faith leaves all results and all answers with God as being God's part, and faith believes that it is done. Our part then is to co-operate with God through faith and not hinder its working by doubting and questioning the how and when of the answer.

If a Christian will truly exercise faith that he knows is necessary, there will be no question as to the answer. One can get healing, health, success in business or in any undertaking, prosperity, happiness or anything that one to be victorious in any phase of life (Matt. 17:20; 21:22; Mark 11:22-24; John 15:7, 16; Rom. 8:32; Heb. 11:6; James 1:5-8).

Faith is not only a natural ability or exercise of a created faculty of man, but it is a fruit of the Spirit and a gift from God (Gal. 5:22-23; 1 Cor. 12:4-11).

Dangerous Heresy?

"But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:" (Acts 24:14).

Haz.

Beautifuly put. A big AMEN and AMEN!!!!!! :th_praying::cool:

When I said "some has been misquoted" I meant by the people on this post,

I have never heard a WOF person say,

[1] Jesus death was not enough to save us.

[2]It's OK to put curses on people who disagree with you.

Every WOF person I have heard have all given Bible to back up what they say.

There may be one or two who say wrong things, But that doesnt make the rest of the WOF wrong.

If you think the WOF people are wrong then you know what scriptures they quote, and you know where to find them.

If you dont then you have no right to judge them.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
