when is sin not forgiven and does asking God for forgiveness rectify the wrong or does other action need to take place even if correcting the matter will hurt many others? I know the only way to Heaven is thru Jesus Christ and I should confess my sins to him and humbly ask for forgiveness. and sin no more. I know I also need to forgive myself. Is there more that I am missing? The sin is a lie and confessing the lie to others will not fix anything or help anyone else, it will just cause pain and anguish. I humbly look for honest advise and where to search the scriptures I have been searching and have not found the answer i think I am looking for. I pray to be right with God to have him fully in my heart. To know him, to give him all the glory, praise and worship. my walk with God is now at a cleansing deep inside stage and I know God has brought this to my attention. Please pray for me I want to be a wlling vessel in God's great plan. sincerely cupajoy

I pray that you will know the peace that forgiven sin brings! You've got it right when you say that you need to confess and repent and turn from the sin. Confessing one to another is important as well. If a lie has hurt someone, then an open confession is warranted, so that people can be made right with one another. God will be along for the ride, if you are worried about further difficulties!

God knows your heart, and I pray that as you seek to serve Him with all your heart, He will direct you in the right way to go in handling this! Just know that we do not live by feelings. We live by what the Word of God says about us!

to clarify no one is hurt right now because they know not of the lie (lies) but if I were to confess to the person I need or may not need to confess to then innocent bystanders would be hurt( I have confessed to God whole heartedly). Right now no one is hurt or has any damages to deal with, it is in me that I really think I have to forgive myself and i am trying really hard to figure out how to do that. i have chosen to forgive myself. I've said it out loud. I have commanded the devil to get under my feet where he belongs. And I have confessed to a dear friend and she was very honest and told me that it is going to have to be me letting go and trully forgiving myself it belongs to no one else but between me and God. I am looking for scriptures and you all have given me places to look I am trully grateful thank you. I know I have to put it under the blood and leave it there, but there are times i just slip up and exagerate another story or something really silly so now I am going to correct myself at the moment it happens and ask for forgiveness right then and there. I still can't figure out why I have to make things out to more than what they are. I don't need to impress anyone. I just need to be right with God. Can you tell I am now speaking to myself and trying to justify my actions. I seem to be a chronic liar, It's usually small things like I went somewhere and this really big thing happened and the story grows from there. please pray for me. thank you all so much cupajoy

1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1Jo 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1Jo 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Keep fighting the good fight...

stand against yourself and for Him and you will get the victory over this besetting sin... :ph34r::ph34r:

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Heb 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Heb 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

sin is not forgiven when there is no repentence and no sorrow by the person who sinned.

The only sins that are not forgiven are the sins that one does not want forgiven.

      You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
