I've seen nothing in the bible declaring aChristmas a Holy day. It seems to me that we confuse tradition with holiness. Wasn't it a holy thing when God sent Jesus into the world? Perhaps, but it wasn't on Dec 25th. When it comes down to it, we should consider every day a Holy day because the Lord even works on the sabbath. Guest
{{{ If we're going to take away Santa from children, then we must next take away Popeye! Popeye propagates a lie in saying that if one eats spinach they will gain ultimate strength! }}} Oh No! Say it ain't so Sam! Not Popeye! Next we'll hear spinach salads are evil! Christmas is just a time many Christians around to world get aside to celebrate The Birth of The Lord! They gather together with family and friends (and strangers sometimes) to enjoy each other and to worship an astounding God because He sent His Only Son to earth to die in our place! No true Christian would force another to worship The LORD or to join in a Christmas love gathering. Many Christians around the world are undergoing horrendous martyrdom even as we write to each other here at Worthy! They are undergoing torment for their faith in The One who's birth we celebrate at Christmas and we could (by The Spirit) lift them up during our Christmas love feast to Jesus? Merry Christmas Beloved of Christ! Maranatha!

If we must slam someone, than lets hit the mark and target the real culprit/s. Santa is just a commerical fabrication that makes retailers very happy - I'm not in retail unfortunately, otherwise I'd be rolling around in the dollars right now

I think this is much to do about nothing.

Guest DJChrizzle
I always that that santa was a nice fellow, and that his white beard signified the greatness of God. Plus, we celebrate the birth of Santa on Christmas, at least, that's what my mom told me...
